In my personnel opinion, males are the best. I have a male sewer Rat named Ben and he is really big. He loves to stay on my shoulder and sleeps right next to me. My female rat named Betty , is more restless and she is a feeder rat. She does not stay next to me and she likes to claw me. Ben has been living for 3 years and he is always with me, so in my opinion males are the best, for pets.

YES! I took my kids there and walked across the suspension bridge. We walked only about 50 feet into the trail and came across a snake, approx 8 feet long and 4 inches in diameter. It was just laying in one of those ditches right alongside the trail. Never ran so fast in my life!

It depends on what type of snake you have.

It's a defense mechanism. Reptiles don't normally have that much contact with people, but they DO get used to being handled over time.

Also, if it is your pet snake, taking it out to hold warms it up and gets it moving, which promotes bathroom time.

It means 'Heterozygous' - Put simply, it means a snake carries the genes of two possible 'mutations' and it's offspring can develop either of the traits.

A wild Hognose snake's, although rear fang venomous (non-lethal), first reaction to a threat is to roll over extrude a foul smelling liquid from its cloaca and play dead, not to attack.

In captivity, Hognose snakes are very well tempered snakes. I have had a hognose as a pet for three years now, and not once have I ever been bitten by it.

Keep in mind, another response to something like a hand or predator touching the top of the snake, the hognose may start hissing but is not ill tempered.

Well I've been collecting serpents on wizard101 forever now and I've got the snow serpent pet already but the storm serpent is what I'm trying to get.........oh and I don't think you can have two of the same pet on wizard101 either it's a let down like if I have the myth sprite I can not get the dark sprite OH and I don't want to tell you how you DO get the serpent pet sorry cause I ONLY love them not anyone else so BAD ONE
