The "Bb trumpet" is a transposing instrument. A written C comes out as a Bb.

The trombone is a concert pitch instrument. A written C comes out as a C.

So, trombones are PITCHED in Bb....but they READ in C, just like a flute or piano.

unlike other brass instruments the trombone has a slide to change pitch and one thing fun you can do is play glissed because i did a solo in my last concert and my music teacher said i could do a few glisses and told me that was one of the most fun things of playing a trombone. (i play the trombone in the school band and i am the only trombone).

Tuba, it is the longest so it creates the lowest tones. In order it would be tuba, baritone and trombone. Baritone and trombone are basically the same but baritone sounds a bit better at the lowest part of its range.

Both the slide on a Trombone and the valves on a Trumpet are to play all of the different notes. (ie: press the 2 and 3rd valve on a trumpet to play G#).

music is sound, sound is compsed of "waves" or the peaks and valleys thesound travels, looks like a wave. The longer the distance between the peak and valley, the lower the note/pitch. the shorter the distance the higher the pitch. This is best seen if you pluck a guitar string. You can see the string vibrate to the sound wave. Shorten the lengthen of the string and you produce a high pitch.

The slide and vavles do this in the trumpet and trombone. Pressing the valves re-channels or directs the sound wave produce by the player's lips through shorter or longer tubing/distance. The trombone this is done by moving the slide up or down.

A trombone is a brass instrument, therefore its sound is produced by you blowing air through your mouth and vibrating your lips. the octave is changed by how fast or slow you vibrate your lips.

From Eb on the staff to Eb above the staff, they go 3 (Eb), 1 (F), 4 (G), 3 (Ab), 1 (Bb), 3 (C), 1 (D), and finally, 3 (Eb).

I also have a 1928 Browning 22 Trombone. Based on the serial number given, your gun dates prior to 1956 because it has no prefix or date code. Therfore based on total product of about 150000 units over 53 years your rifle should be a late 1940's model. I would say some ware around 1948 - 1949.

Yes and no. Small bore trombones and euphoniums will not have the same size mouthpieces. The euphonium is a large bore instrument (normally). If you are playing a large bore trombone, then the shank of the mouthpiece will be the same size, but depending on the mouthpiece make, model, etc, may or may not be the same. If you have a Schilke 52D mouthpiece, and you put it in a Euphonium, then a Trombone, then yes the pieces are in fact the same size.

This varies somewhat between orchestras, so it is impossible to give one answer that applies everywhere. However, the most typical arrangement would have the tuba in the last row (not including percussion), stage left of the rest of the brass, next to the trombone section, and near the double basses.

Going up: 3rd E flat, 1st F, 4th G, 3rd A flat, 1st B flat, 3rd C, 1st D, 3rd E flat. To go back down, you would just play the notes in opposite order (i.e. E flat, D, C, etc.).

From my experience as a player of five years, it will not. There may be more information about this from somewhere else, but if chemicals in toothpaste are safe enough for your mouth, they're probably safe enough for your horn. Most people even clean their mouthpiece with toothpaste.

In my experience, no, Cecilio makes terrible instruments. Are you buying online or at a store? Never buy an instrument online, you will almost never get what you want. I suggest looking up stores in your area, such as Sam Ash or Quinlan and Fabish. There are also various other stores which may carry good brands.
