Depends on the circumstances. You stated quit, so typically it is 30 days. Doesnt mean a store will call you on day 31, but that is walmarts rule on quiting before you can reaplly with the company. Report them to corporate headquarters. File a complaint. The managers of the local store are required to provide you with info on how to do this and it's a nice way to make you feel better.

Hi, i work at walmart and even was a salary manager for the company for awhile. It it sad that sometimes you run into a problem that is not taken care of how it should be. You can do how the person above suggested. As the person said above you can contact corporate or have the managers on duty tell you how to contact their bosses. Here is what happens if you do these:

1----If you call 1-800-walmart you can file complaint. The complaint is passed along to the market manager (which is the store mgrs boss), and it also goes to the store itself. Sadly, most of the time the market mgr. will contact the store and ask them for their version of what happened and often believe them and that is the end of the issue. They might contact you and b.s. you.

2----The mgr. on duty you are talking to might give you the run around to who their bosses are if you ask, but its worth a try. Thier boss of course will be the store mgr, then the market mgr.

Other options you have.

Call the wmethic hotline 1800wmethic, but it will usually end up back done through the market mgr.

The other option is that normally at the service desk or on the back of the bathroom doors the number to the market mgr. is posted there and you can call th person directly and take them off guard and vent your issue. Sometimes nothing is still done. Market mgrs. do have a boss, which are "regional mgrs." Ask them how to get ahold of their mgrs. IF they refuse contact me and i will see if can find their contact information for you. Sadly after the regional mgr. you will not reach anyone much higher who will do anything at that point.

Yes, a walmart associate can shop at Sam's Club. At walmart a employee (associates) will get a discount (10% on most things), whereas at Sam's Club they will be treated as they are just a customer. They will still need to obtain a membership of Sam's.

I coined this phrase in 1992 after watching the movie Vacation. I had gone into a Wal-Mart store for the very first time and it was amazing in comparison to the Kmarts and Sears of the time. I started using this phrase within my group of friends and it spread. I called it this because half of the name which is Wal was also part of Wallyworld which was the amusement park used in the movie Vacation. This store was like my amusement park of the time because we had nothing here in Arizona to go do but to frequent the local Wal-Mart. The term originated in 1992 in Arizona by T. Klimek.

Yes. If it was a walmart.com receipt, then you just log into your account and find the order number and can print out a new invoice. If it was done at a walmart store. You need to know as many items as you can remember your purchased on the same transaction (same receipt). What time it was done (rough idea), and what register. Then ask management at your local store to look it up for you. Sadly, not all managers know how to do this or will even have someone do it for you. They will say they dont keep track of them. When I went on a cruise to Alaska, the tour guide told us the Ketchikan Walmart was amongst the 10 most profitable Walmarts, it sold out completely from ALL of their inventory in 2 days, since people from remote areas of Alaska will buy in bulk because they will come only once a month for food and necesities.

You can purchase AMEX Travelers Checks in denominations smaller than $100 thereby eliminating the $20 cash back problem at Wal-Mart. It's a good idea to get different denominations to have a mix of checks for any situation.

Wal-Mart does cash travelers checks BUT beware. Recently I had a $100 Travelers check, purchased groceries for $45.00 I was told they could only give me back $20.00. So I would have to buy $80.00 worth so I wouldn't get short changed $35.00. Needless to say I took my check, left them to put the groceries back on the shelves. SO BE AWARE of Wal-Marts policy for taking travelers checks. Go to the bank first so the thieves don't take your money. It makes me wonder what the travelers of this world do when they are in another city or on the road and need to shop at Wal-Mart. I don't suppose many will read this so I am going to post it on MY website and Probably FaceBook too. I am surely going to alert the travelers about this. THIS IS MY OPINION ONLY NOT MEANT TOP BE DETRIMENTAL TO WAL-MART. BUT Although it will be inconvenient for me to shop elsewhere I will no longer be a Wal-Mart customer.
