Any type of SAE certified transmission fluid can be used in the 1997 Acura. The transmission should never be overfilled.
It's on the passenger side....either #6 or #7. Takes a 20 fuse. Hope this helps =)
It's all relative to climate, soil (beach/sand or dirt or snow) and mileage, remember change the air filter. You should remain with your owner's suggested oil weight but use a quality brand not a $19.95 Special unless it identifies the brand.
VSA stands for Vehicle Stability Assist. It is the electronic stability control from Honda. To gain control in a slide, it activates the antilock brakes and cuts down the engine power.
Most say 60,000 miles. i have a 2005 Accord and my fluid was dark and I changed it at 39,000. If its dark then change it, if it is red or pinkish it is fine, and it should not smell burnt
the ECU is located in the center console behind the ash tray that pulls out
Inside of the car, behind the glovebox,
There is no such language as Slavic.
Slavic is a category of more than 20 languages, such as:
lock both doors, and then unlock only the passenger door with the key.
A Brick thrown from a good distance would work pretty well. Do keep a safe distance, as the flying glass could penetrate your skin. I would not recommend this around if a crowd is standing in the area. Also, a hammer would do quite well also. Again, be safe wear gloves and protective clothing. Be sure to have a shop vacuum available to help in cleaning up the glass shards.
The best trucks are Ford & Dodge. They're well build and durable. Ford's are said to be one of the most long lasting trucks!
The air filter on a year 1999 Acura cl is pretty hard to miss. It, of course, is located under the hood. After you pop the hood, look for a big black rectangle box behind the headlight on the driver side.
first you pull out the fuse that controls the fuel pump and then you turn on the car and crank the engine for ten seconds, then pop the hood and remove battery cables, make sure they aren't touching anything metal, the fuel filter is located close to the windshield under the hood and in the middle of the car. remove those plastic panel under the hood and close to the windshield. remove the strut bar. it gets complicated after that, don't worry if lots of gas comes out of the fuel filter that is normal. look up how to remove a regular fuel filter and you will be doing that process except vertically and in cramp conditions, also be careful with the washers.
why wont my 97 acura cl 2.2 vtech always start
First you will need to get the radio code......i went to a Honda dealership to get mine. turn you radio on and enter the code with your numbered presets. The code will only have the numbers 1-6, it's pretty simple. Keep that code on hand cause you'll have to enter it anytime your battery may go dead.
You open the glove box and you will see two black plastic pieces toward the top on either side of the glove box. This is what is holding the glove box up. Get a screw drive and pop these off. the glove box will fall down. Then you will see a white plastic box this is where your filters are...open it and pull both out and replace
FOR 2009-2010 TL - OPEN THE GLOVE BOX - PULL THE CENTER SHELF TOWARDS YOU - IT POPS OUT - BEHIND THAT IS THE FACE PLATE FOR THE FILTER TRAY - PUSH THE TABS ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE IN AND REMOVE TRAY - THE FILTER JUST SITS IN THE TRAY - REPLACE WITH AFTER MARKET FILTER AND REVERSE THE PROCESS - MUCH EASIER THAN THE 2008 AND OLDER TLs!
