What does Adam naming of the animals reavels about him?

So he could tell them apart when referring to them. Using a name does not require a detailed description every time.

Also, by giving animals names they are then distinguished from humans. Adam was the first to recognize that animals and humans were not the same, therefore he is regarded as the first man. For members of the Baha'i Faith He also initiated a prophetic cycle which ended with the Bab and Baha'u'llah who inaugurated a new cycle in human spiritual history that will extend 500,000 years.

What time of day was Adam created?

On the sixth day of creation.

Day by day, God created the universe and its contents (Genesis ch.1).

God created the universe out of nothing (Exodus 20:11, Isaiah 40:28; Rashi commentary to Genesis 1:14; Maimonides' "Guide," 2:30).Note that the Torah, in describing the Creation, deliberately employs brevity and ellipsis, just as it does in many other topics. See the Talmud, Hagigah 11b.

  • On day 1: God created the universe in general, light, and this Earth. The light was not the same as that of the sun. Rather, it was light that God created before the sun, and which emanated from a point in space without any physical source; like what we might term a "white hole."
  • On day 2: God created the separation between the Earth and the upper atmosphere.
  • On day 3: God separated the continents from the oceans, and created plants.
  • On day 4: God created the sun, moon, and stars.
  • On day 5: God created birds and fish.
  • On day 6: God created animals and people.
  • On day 7: God ceased creating, thereby creating the concept of rest.

Who's more important Adam or Eve?

Answer:Eve Answer:Neither is more or less important than the other. God, however, did place Eve under Adams rule after they ate of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Genesis 3:16 (KJV) Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.

Why did Bishop Eddie Long preach that Eve was created not by the rib of Adam but by the ovaries of Adam?

Answer 1:

Why did he preach this? Because he doesn't kjnow the scriptures. Eve was taken and formed from the rib of man. Read the second chapter of Genesis. The Scriptures say RIB not ovaries. Maybe he was just kidding. Men don't have ovaries. OR maybe he was an IMPOSTOR.

Answer 2The Bible states that Eve was made from the rib of Adam.Anything other than that is unBiblical belief. The fact that men don't have ovaries is evidence that what the Bishop said isn't true. Answer 3 (from Islamic perspective)There is no mention in Quran (Muslims holy book that reflects real God words revealed to prophet Muhammad; peace be upon him; through the angel Gabriel or Jibril) on how Eve is created from Adam. Meaning English translation:

{O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. ... (1)}

[Quran, chapter 4, verse 1]

Answer 4I would not listen to anything else that Eddie Long had to say. He apparantly needs to read the Bible a little more. This is a perfect example of "ministers" of God who "preach" the Word according to their own benefit. How could he be a preacher and teach something that goes completely against the doctines that he's sworn by? There are many arguments about which Bible version/translation is the best... Regardless, almost each one tells of the first surgery performed when God took a rib from the lonesome Adam's body and made that rib into a woman, Eve, who would be Adam's complement, his helper. Eve had the ovaries, not Adam.

I think Eddie long needs to invest some of that money he's raking in to get him a Bible Study. It'll do him and all the people his misleading some good! I have not heard this but I could argue that it is because when Adam was first created Adam was both male and female as God has no set gender and God created Adam in his divine image.

Thus to differentiate Adam and make from one person both a make and female removing and making the female from the female genitalia would make sense.

I personally think that early Judaism had a female counterpart to Jehovah. I need more facts to back this up but I suspect the truth is on the net somewhere.

Answer 5When one studies Sex Determination in Mammals, during the early status of the fetus one learns that the gonads are undifferentiated. Without the Y chormsome and testosterone, gonads, by default, develop into the primary female sex organs, (ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, clitoris). When the Y chromsome and testosterone are present, the gonads develop into the primary male sex organs (testicals not ovaries, penis not clitoris, sperm duct not fallopian tubes, prostate not urethra, scrotum not labia majora). Adam had no overies. He had undifferentiated gonads.

Adam came to know his wife only after they were expelled forn the Garden of Eden, and that's when Eve conceived Cain. (Gen 4:1) When Adam was 130 yrs old Eve gave birth to Seth. (Gen 5: 2)

You can read what else happened to them in the First Book of Adam and Eve.

Answer 6I don't feel any significance of knowing that Eve was created from Adam's rib or ovaries. It is enough to know that Eve was created from Adam; as mentioned in Qur'an. Qur'an says: {O mankind, fear your Lord, who created you from one soul and created from it its mate and dispersed from both of them many men and women. ... } [4:1]

Could God give another chance to restart this life again?

no he could but he wont this is the only chance we get I wish he would

==new answer== In the beginning, God gave us life and choice. A part of the way we use choice is how many lifetimes it takes to become familiar with all the qualities we inherited from him. We are all his children with the necessity of growing up to be like him. I suppose anything is possible, but for me a few more lifetimes are necessary.

Although it is impossible to be born into this world a second time we all nevertheless are given the opportunity to make a complete new start, every negative thing of the past being wiped out, so we can start again with a clean slate.

God became a man (incarnation) in order that we all may have a new start.

As children of Adam we all inherit a fallen nature. But through faith in Jesus Christ, we receive "Eternal Life" Which is the life of God and we are born of God. Our spirit becomes alive unto God. We become Sons of God in His resurrection. Jesus said in John 20:17, we are not His brother's and God is now our Father. Romans 8:29 Tells us we are conformed to the Image of Jesus Christ, He being the firstborn among many brothers (us). How wonderful to be just like Him when we are born from above. John 3.

What is the time to the story of Adam and Eve?

The time to the story of Adam and Eve was the "beginning". This was when time began, though this question is still debated based on beliefs.

Are Adam and Eve saints?

Adam and Eve are regarded as saints. Although venerated in the Orthodox Church, they are little venerated in the Roman Catholic Church. Also of relevance is whether they really existed or whether their story should be considered as allegorical. Many Christian saints have been found to be unhistorical, so this should not entirely bar them from sainthood.

Is the story of Adam and Eve similar to the story of the Tower of Babel?
