if an individual looks affected by either alcohol or drugs it must be reported to the supervisor, if u ar the supervisor then talking to the individual by expressing concern for his/her safety sending them home an asking them to come back to work the next day, an the issue will be addressed more indepth pointing out consequences if should ever happen again, if the person becomes aggressive then policy/guidelines within the organisation should be adhered to an appropiate steps should be taken. hope this helps.

The biggest benefit of going to an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting is that they can offer information that other organizations may not be able to access. Going to a meeting also lets you meet other alcoholics that are in your position that are also seeking healing.

Personally I don't like to get drunk - it's a very expensive way to embarrass yourself.

However, several of my friends would and did get drunk on a regular basis. For them, it was a social identity (being a party-person), a way to meet people (at the bar or club), a way to relax and reduce inhibitions, and a way to forget for a little while any problems they were having.

Although alcoholics must be prepared for the fact that recovery is a lifelong process, there are treatment centers that provide the necessary support and encouragement needed to avoid a relapse. Along with attending these facilities, alcoholics must also adopt a new lifestyle change which involves making new friends, abandoning the old Saturday night hangouts, and attending support groups.
