How did the Algonquin comunicate What are some of the simple words?
It seems that most people are very confused about the meaning of the name "Algonquin", which refers only to a small tribe located along the Ottawa river valley in Canada.
The similar word "Algonquian" refers to a very large language family of many tribes from the Blackfoot confederacy, Cheyenne and Arapahos of the Plains to the Sauk, Fox, Miami, and Kickapoo of the Mid West and the Powhatan, Wampanoag, Delaware, Mi'kmaq, Mahican, Mohegan and many, many more along the east coast.
All these tribes spoke languages that are very distantly related, perhaps all of them evolved from a very ancient single language known as proto-Algonquian, some of which can be reconstructed today using a kind of "reverse development".
Since you specifically mention the language of the Algonquin tribe (also called Algonkin), here are a few simple words:

Where can a 17-year-old find a job in Illinois?
In answer to your question 17 year olds can get more jobs than you would think
not alot of people want to work in fast food but that's one, and another really
good one is retail. Have you ever tried like Sears or Jc pennys something of
that nature retail usually hires 16 year olds. If you are still in school you
have a better chance of getting a job, than if you weren't in school .
I hope that helped
To give you a more specific answer, there are PLENTY of good jobs that a 17yr old can get, you just have to be persistent. I had an awesome job earning $7.00/hr starting pay at Chipotle Mexican Grill when I was 17 but they also hire mature 16 yr olds. I know that Abercrombie (kids store) hires at 17 as do the majority of grocery stores like Albertsons and Kroger. Many restraunts such as Chili's and Red Lobster hire hosts as young as 16. Most of these places offer significant employee discounts in addition to a good base pay.For summer jobs, Water parks and theme parks usually hire at 17 and offer a great base pay. Lifeguards make very good money and also offer you good skills for getting high paying babysitting jobs. If it seems like all the college kids are taking all the jobs, take the initiative to follow up all of your applications with a phone call to the manager within 48 hours to insure that they have indeed received your app and to see if they might be interested in setting up an interview. Make sure to turn in applications between Tuesday and Thursday and at stores early in the morning before the afternoon shopping rush and at restaurants between 2pm and 4pm so you don't interrupt the flow of mealtimes and have a better chance of getting to speak with a manager.
AnswerTry the malls or even check out a library. Maybe look on the internet, with help from an adult, and look up a job search, summer jobs, etc. There's probably zillions of 'em. Hey, why not the local movie theatre? There's air conditioning, lots of kids, and maybe even a free movie and condiments!
