Allegory and Simile

A simile is a comparison - what do you know that is quiet? As quiet as new-fallen snow? As quiet as a mouse? You pick a good one!

As light as a bubble.

as quiet as a falling leaf

Oh, dude, spinach is like the superhero of veggies, all strong and leafy like Popeye's muscles after a can of spinach. It's as versatile as a chameleon, blending into smoothies, salads, and pasta dishes like it's no big deal. So yeah, spinach is basically the undercover MVP of the produce aisle.

If you want to say that someone sleeps well, you should say things like:

sleeps like a baby

sleeps like a pig(can be offensive, not suggested to use)

sleeps like a sheep

sleeps like she/he never saw a bed before

sleeps like a traveller after a long journey

sleeps like a lost kid who finally came home

A simile compares two things using connective words such as like, as, and so. A simile using the word swan would be as graceful as a swan. Another would be white as a swan. One more would be beautiful as a swan.

"She was as smart as an owl" is one example.
Another is "he is as smart as a doorknob".

A simile compares two things using the words like or as to develop the comparison - This is True

This poem is a tribute to Shakespeare by Matthew Arnold. This poem tells us about the greatness and knowledge of this man who was self schooled and self examined. Other poets follow other's question but he does not care to answer them as he lives in his own world and is beyond knowledge.
