The best ones are done by a competent taxidermist. They are fully fleshed of all meat, and fat, and brains including the inside of the jaw bones and upper pallet, then tanned. After tanning the tongue and throat are rebuilt using casts of real ones.

Im not sure EXACTLY how small it is...but since a snake needs to dislocate its jaw in order to eat and it looks like its head is squished up...I would say their brains are EXTREMELY small, which explains why you cannot teach snakes any tricks. But some snakes have learned when their feeding times are, snakes are fun to have but not very intelligent XD
