Upgrading to more capable hardware is recommended for a better gaming experience.
What type of timers used in embedded systems?
Embedded systems commonly use several types of timers, including hardware timers, software timers, and real-time clocks (RTCs). Hardware timers are integrated into microcontrollers and provide precise timing for events and interrupts. Software timers, implemented in the system's firmware, help manage time-based operations without dedicated hardware. Real-time clocks maintain time and date information even when the system is powered off, ensuring accurate timekeeping in applications like scheduling and logging.
Does amd offer true Pentium compatibility?
AMD processors do not offer true Pentium compatibility, as they are based on different architectures and designs. While some AMD CPUs can run software intended for Intel's Pentium processors due to the x86 architecture compatibility, there may be variations in performance and specific feature sets. Additionally, certain software optimizations that are tailored for Intel processors may not be fully supported on AMD chips. Overall, while there is a degree of compatibility, it is not absolute.
Write a c program to find factors of given number?
#include<stdio.h>
void findfact(int num)
{
int i;
for(i=1;i<num;i++)
{
if(num%i==0)
printf("Factor for %d is %d\n",num,i);
}
}
main()
{
int a;
printf("\nEnter a number:");
scanf("%d",&a);
findfact(a);
}
As temperature rises, the difference between air and processor temperature will increase.
This also mean that more energy will be absorbed into the airflow.
In other words, it will increase to a higher temperature and then stop.
Too high temperature of the processor might cause it to be slightly unstable.
Is AMD athlon 64 x2 better than Intel Core 2 Duo?
There's really no way to tell which manufacturer has the better processors. It all depends on the speed. If you find two processors that are both the same speed, I guarantee that AMD will be 100-150 dollars less but matched quality. Some Intel dual cores are faster than AMD but are much more expensive.
Which is better 2.0 Ghz or 2.2 Ghz AMD Athlon processor?
The 2.2Ghz and 2.4Ghz are numbers that refer to the speed of the computer's internal clock.
This means, higher the value, the faster your computer will run. This means, 2.4Ghz will run faster than 2.2Ghz.
However, keep in mind a few things before you decide on buying a processor. The difference in speed between a 2.2 and 2.4Ghz is very minimal. It is not worth the extra money (about $50 extra).
As far as daily functioning and even gaming goes, 2.2Ghz should be more than enough.
Remember, the speed of your computer is not decided by the processor alone.
Will an amd fx 6300 fit into a Asus m5a97 r2?
Yes, an AMD fx 6300 fits into a ASUS m5a97 r2. For more information check out tomshardware.com/answers/id-1783753/amd-fx6300-work-motherboard-asus-m5a97.html
People DO want to upgrade, and it's much easier to upgrade from current technology, piece by piece. You also have to consider that new firmware must be tested thoroughly for a new processor, and often an OS or some software will not install on hardware it won't recognize, in case someone wants to install last year's software.
Is an AMD Sempron processor fast?
Whenever you ask if something is fast, you must always have a point of reference. Is a bicycle fast? Is a Ferrari fast? Is the Concorde jet fast? Is light fast?
Is an AMD processor the fastest type of processor available? No.
Is an AMD processor faster than an Intel processor of the same price? Probably.
Is an AMD 5x86 faster than an Intel Xeon? Heck, no!
Is an AMD Phenom faster than a Pentium 4? Yes.
Is Intel better than an amd processor?
It depends, but usually Intel is better. Older AMD processors (compared against the early Pentium 4) were much faster, however.
Is a amd athlon TM x2 dual-core QL-64 2.10 ghz good?
this is a faily new processor and is very fast and is excellent. i recommend it! yes it is a good buy and in many cases, the laptops it is in is very good value for money as it is quite cheap to buy despite its high quality and durability.

Why does your computer get slow page loads?
It could be because the hard drive is fragmented and has a harder time accessing information on it. Run a defrag. To do this click Start>Accessories>System Tool> Disk Defragmenter. Also run a disk clean up which can be found in the same folder.
It also could be a virus or a bunch of spy ware or your internet could be throttled or slowed at the moment for what ever reason.
I use Auslogics Disk Defrag along with Advanced System Care : free edition and I never have a single problem with my computer.
Is a amd phenom ii quad core good?
This is a good processors. You will have to have a good graphics card to run today games. This processor is not the best so you might find that games will run a bit slow.
I have the hexacore AMD x6 1035T (2.6GHz) and a fairly pathetic graphics card (1.5GB Nvidia GeForce GT230) (don't get confused by the large amount of video RAM, the rest of the card is pathetic) and I can play Mass Effect 2, NFS Hot Pursuit, GTA4 etc. comfortably (not the best graphics settings for some of the games, but still pretty darn good).
However, if this processor you mention is in a laptop, beware. Unless it is a laptop made for gaming, it is unlikely that it will have a good graphics chip for gaming. Intel integrated graphics are generally useless (portal 2 runs fine, but GTA4 is unplayable) (unlikely that you would have Intel graphics as it's an AMD processor). Read some reviews on the graphics card/chip that comes with your PC, but if it's a desktop PC, you could probably buy a better graphics card if needs be.
But yeah, a quad core 2.2GHz processor is definitely above the minimum requirements for most, if not all, current PC games.
Can amd processor change with Intel?
No. While at one time, long long ago, AMD and Intel processors could be used on the same board with the same chipset, this hasn't been true since the Pentium II was introduced. Nowadays, the processors use very different sockets and chipsets, and there's no way to interchange them.
Is AMD E2-1800 a good processor?
Yes i have a AMD A6
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The AMD E2-1800 (codename Zacate) is a dual core processor for small notebooks and netbooks. It offers a relatively powerful integrated graphics card and a single channel DDR3-1333 memory controller. Compared to the older E-450, the E2-1800 offers only slightly higher CPU (50 MHz) and GPU (20-80 MHz) clock rates.
Inside the E2-1800 two Bobcat cores can access 512KB level 2 cache per core. In comparison to the Atom processors, the Bobcat architecture uses an "out-of-order" execution and is therefore faster at the same clock speed. However, the performance is far worse than similar clocked Penryn (Celeron) or Danube (Athlon II) cores. On average the cpu performance of the E-450 lies a bit beyond a Celeron SU2300 at 1.2 GHz or a Athlon II Neo K325 at 1.3 GHz.
