No. One report on TV said they only found a shoe. Maybe a small piece of metal that could have been from any Japanese airplane that crashed during WW2. I believe I heard a report just a few years ago that a piece of metal was found that was "almost certainly" from the cover of her navigator, Fred Noonan's, log book.

Amelia Earth, her flight engineer, and her plane are belived to have been lost somewhere over the Pacific Ocean. It is now thought that the coordinates that she was given for her fuel stop at Howley Island in the Pacific Ocean were wrong. Knowing what you do about how latitude and longitude coordinates are written, wy would a wrong number have been so catastrophic for her?

In large part, Amelia Earhart supported herself with public appearances and promotions such as Amelia Earhart luggage. Her husband, George Palmer Putnam, helped her promote herself so she could afford to keep flying. She was self-reliant and did not want to be dependent on her husband.

Amelia Earhart was the first woman to fly across the Atlantic and Pacific oceans solo. She also won many aviation trophies and set many records.

During an attempt to circumnavigate the earth, AE's plane went down somewhere in the South Pacific and the whereabouts of the plane and her body are still unknown. Some believe that they have just found her bones on some small island.

Amelia Earhart proved that gender, male or famale, should not matter when it comes to rights.

The main type of adversity that Amelia Earhart was forced to deal with was having to overcome the fact that she was treated differently, and looked down upon because she was a woman. She set off on her journey anyway, and became a hero due to her determination.

Biography When 10-year-old Amelia Mary Earhart saw her first plane at a state fair, she was not impressed. "It was a thing of rusty wire and wood and looked not at all interesting," she said. It wasn't until Earhart attended a stunt-flying exhibition, almost a decade later, that she became seriously interested in aviation. A pilot spotted Earhart and her friend, who were watching from an isolated clearing, and dove at them. "I am sure he said to himself, 'Watch me make them scamper,'" she said. Earhart, who felt a mixture of fear and pleasure, stood her ground. As the plane swooped by, something inside her awakened. "I did not understand it at the time," she said, "but I believe that little red airplane said something to me as it swished by."
