Most royal tombs contained a wide variety of ritualistic objects and jewelry, the reason they brought the item with them is because they thought they needed the items to protect and sustain the king in the netherworld.

Egyptians thought that people were made up of five elements; body, spirit, personality, name and shadow. By preserving the body, they believed that they could keep the elements alive.

Queen Cleopatra was a great queen because, she got Egypt out of this huge debt they got stuck in. Her father was the on who got them in that huge debt. Queen Cleopatra was also the one who fixed the canals in the Nile river.

The Egyptians put special items in tomb like food, gold, and water is because they were needed in the afterlife. They put canopic jars in tombs because they held th organs of the body because the body would need them in the afterlife to live.

It is important to know about mummies because it is part of historical features. How will we know about how people lived in the past, and how they controled their problems in life if we dont study about mummies? Ask your self that.

The jar that a mummy's organs would be placed into was a jar called a canopic jar. It was made of stone or clay.

The Book of Exodus says that they wandered in the desert for forty years, until their descendants invaded the land of the Canaanites and settled there. However, over 90 per cent of scholars are reported as believing that there was no Exodus from Egypt as described in the Bible.

That does not mean that there never was a group of slaves that escaped from Egypt. Afterwards, the slaves continued north until they reached Judah and joined the Hebrew people, bringing stories of their miraculous survival and of their new God, who gradually became YHWH, the God of the Jews.

To my opinion, I think that in the ancient Egyptian time there were slave's of all ages. Maybe because the ruler of the land was too lazy or he/she just did it for whatever reason.

the answer to that question would be anything that belonged to the phaoraoh. the egyptians also believed that whatever they saw on earth they should see it in the afterlife. that is one of the reasons why they mummified animals.

The mummies were put inside caskets and then sealed inside pyramids if they were royalty. They built traps to catch grave robbers. And they knew that there would be those that would try to steal from the dead. Slaves that put the bodies in the tomb were often killed so they could not tell where the body was hid.

Yes it was in the late 196o's by W.B. Emery at North Saqqara, tomb 3518.B (as there is also a 5th Dynasty tomb with the same number at Saqqara North cemetery). The discovert is only described Emery's preliminary reports, published in the Journal of Egyptian Archaeology as Emery died in 1971 before he could write a final report.
