Animal Testing

I believe we should value each and every animal's life as if they are human, because they share some of the same organs, facial and body features, they have feelings, they have emotions, they have a brain, and can catch on pretty quick let alone are able to detect cancers, ailments, and how to calm those suffering with mental and emotional illnesses. I don't agree with companies who still rely on animals to test their products on or run experiments. Because if things were switched, you couldn't possibly get a human to agree to being tested and experimented on (although it has happened in the past with minorities, almost simultaneously and against their will.) However, I am for the experiments made on INVASIVE species of animals, rodents, and other animals who pose a serious documented and evaluated threat to the population and the earth. But animals, who deserve their second chances at life like humans, no.

Many cultures think some animals are sacred for example:

Egyptians: Cats

Hindu/ Indian : Beef

and they don't eat anything from the animals either so if something was sacred to us then we wouldn't want things tested on them.

I'm sorry to say after much research that there are not any and that unless someone makes some there are none, but good news there arn't any for it either

Yes, there are laws requiring manufacturers of products classified as pesticides to conduct animal testing and properly label side effects of chemicals on products before selling it. The Enviornmental Protection Agency (the organization that mandates this law) considers many household items pesticides such as bug spray and anti bacterial and anti microbial products.

Animal testing upsets most people because the animals have no say in the experimentation. An animal can't say "that hurts" or "stop". On the other hand, humans can and almost everyone finds human testing repulsive...

because for the most part the animals are going thru a biochemical warfare. they are being tested against there will. a lot of people think that it is cruel, which to a degree is, but would you want them testing on humans?

No, testing on animals is legal in the US and heavily regulated. All animals used for testing and research must be under the care of a licensed accredited veterinarian, usually one who specializes in laboratory animal medicine. All protocols must be written in exact detail and reviewed by an IACUC (Internal Animal Care and Use Committee), who must agree that this protocol is proper, humane and would result in valuable information being gained. For instance, an IACUC would not approve a protocol that involved breaking an animal's bone to determine if the break hurt - this information is well established (yes, it hurts like crazy) and is inhumane.

Yes in ways. It is a way to test prodects with out putting people in danger. Also with animal food and medicens they practice on animals to see how well they work. I think it's ridicouluse personaly. In my mind animals should be treated the same way as humans. After all they have nerves systems too don't they?
