On Antelope Island we have many types of mammals. These include

Pronghorn, Bison, Jackrabbit, Ords Kangaroo Rat, Porcupine, Badger, Bobcat, Desert Bighorn Sheep, pocket mice, and bats.

Birds - there are over 250 different kinds of birds that visit or live on the Island. We have burrowing, barn, and great horned owls, pereguine falcons, golden and bald eagles, sharp shinned hawks, red tailed hawks, and tons of shorebirds like pelicans, avocets, and gulls.

Reptiles and the rest - no venemous snakes, but we have gopher snakes and many different species of lizards. Not really any amphibians to speak of.

Tons of Insects, including the harmless orb weaver spider, grasshoppers, brine flies (that do not bite) no-see-ums (that do bite) midges (that cover your car when you drive along the causeway in the summer, but won't hurt you) and others. These are very important as they provide food for most of the visiting shorebirds.
