I have both epilepsy and a type of autism called Asperger's Syndrome. For the epilepsy I take the 500mg depakote. I also take the 1mg risperdal pill for controlling my attitude and help prevent anxiety. Taking both together gives me no problems with them interacting together. Another medication I'm on for anxiety is the 20mg pill Lexapro and it has no interactions with the other 2. Yes, in USA. There are so many different antibiotics for many different ailments, you wouldn't know which one you need. The doctor has to write a prescription.

If you know what is wrong and you have been a patient of this doctor for a long time a phone call will suffice in most cases ( I've done it many times) he can call it in or you can pick it up at the office. My Doctor is not money hungry.

To add to the above: it's very important you get antibiotics prescribed to you by your doctor rather than self medicating. I think it's in most peoples minds that antibiotics aren't narcotics and aren't dangerous but they can be very dangerous. You may find you have an allergy to them Penicillan or Sulfa are the most common. I have a Sulfa allergy and antibiotics containing sulfa make me extremely sick. Also, when antibiotics are misused or OVER used it can cause bacteria to mutate which is why there so many antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria and as you can imagine that is not good. There can also be interactions to other medications you are taking and you should tell your doctor if you are other meds. You need to A) get the right antibiotic for your illness or it won't work. B) under doctor supervision in case you have an allergic reaction and so that if you are on other meds they can ensure they won't interact with each other and C) never under any circumstance stop taking them because you "feel better" always take all of them the entire time prescribed.

Right now I am on Lexapro and I've only taken Tylenol for my headaches. I havent had any harmful effects from it so far. I actually am getting ready to go to my doctor today and this is one of the questions I have planned to ask her so when I get her answer I will edit this and let you know.

yep iv taken vicodin zyrtec xanax and cyclobenzaprine all togather most that will happen with any of those is you might get a little buzz if you take large doses because zyrtec increases the effects and sleepyness of the others
