Why does apple juice kill plants?
Answer:
There are many folk-cures and hear-say remedies for growing plants, many if not most will end in weakening if not killing the plant, the best recourse is to know the plant, know what type of soil it likes, and what kind of nutrients it requires, (well balanced nutrient filled diet) the simple course of action would be: Plain water, Air, Sunlight [full/partial/defused] and a mild form of fertilizer, keeping in mind not to over water or under water.
apple juice wont help a plant grow because in photosynthesis, both sunlight (CO2) and water (H2O) are main components in the plant growing proccess, apple juice just aids in the fungi process, i have tried it, it just got fuzzy at the top...fungi.
Is it safe to drink unpasturized apple juice that is unopened and the electricity went out?
If the cranberry juice was purchased from the non-refrigerated aisle, yes it should be safe to drink. However, if the electricity remains out for several days, the cranberry juice should be discarded a couple days after opening because bacteria may start to multiply in it.
If the cranberry juice was purchased from the refrigerated aisle, if it is still feels like it is at refrigerator temperatures it should be safe to drink. However, this product should be consumed within 12 hours of opening.
If the cranberry juice was purchased from the refrigerated aisle and feels warm to the touch, it may not be safe to drink.
What does apple cider consist of?
Apple Cider. That's all it takes is apple cider fermenting with the help of some yeast into vinegar.
According to all of my research, Woodpecker cider is gluten-free. Along with Magners, Woodchuck, Bulmers (UK brand of Magners), Strongbow and Cider Jack. The only unfriendly cider I have found to date is Hornsby....which does have wheat. I have been a celiac for six years and was a huge fan of beer before my diagnosis. I like some of the gluten-free beers out there (Ramapo Valley, New Grist), however they are extremely hard to find in bars/pubs - not to mention stores! Cider is a nice alternative and since it is available in a ton of bars/pubs/restaurants/stores, you do not have to feel ostracized when you are out and want to have a beer-like drink, especially when you can get it on tap!
Does apple juice have carbohydrates?
YES, definitely. Apple juice (usually) has sugar in it naturally, or it is artificially added. Sugar is one example of carbohydrates. There also might be fiber in some apple juices which is also an example of carbohydrates.
Why does water evaporates quicker than apple juice?
Any diet soda will evaporate faster than the non-diet counterpart because diet sodas don't contain sugars.
The evaporation rate of a solution is affected by the amount of dissolved solids (solutes) in the liquid. Diet soda has a smaller mass of dissolved substances (concentrated artificial sweeteners) than regular cola (sugar or corn syrup).
Diet soda is simply plain carbonated water with color, flavoring and artificial sweetner. The artificial sweetner is so much stronger than natural sugar that much less is used to sweeten the soda.
Will apple juice react with baking soda?
yes it does. very much it is fun to do. it is better the diet coke! you could also do it with mentos
Well, not exactly…
You see if you consider a margarita fruit juice then yah, with high blood pressure and a heart condition you should be worried about drinking juice beverages with too much salt, let alone Alcohol!
So why am I writing this post? I am a proponent of fruit juice actually, and all fruit in general.
It happens to be a trend right now where personal trainers and other fitness professionals are telling you to stay away from fruit juice. It has got so bad that one of my die hard clients wont even touch the stuff from what she has seen in the media… So can fruit juice make you fat? Yes, if that's all you drink…
Then why as a personal trainer do I love to tell my clients to drink fruit juice then? What's wrong with me?
Well, nothing… (You should know by now this is my normal contrarian style.)
You just have to understand how the human body works. And most "Professionals" are too lazy to explain the truth behind such popular topics, and it is much easier to join the bandwagon and get a lot of press time for it then to tell the whole story.
So here I go… I like to think people read my blog and watch my videos because I do a good job at breaking it down for you to understand even the "most complex" topics on health so it is easy to understand. And you know what? It really is easy to understand once you know it…
Your body is like a campfire in the woods… The more wood on the fire, the more it will burn and the hotter it will get. But, how do you start the campfire to begin with?
You can't just throw a bunch of logs into a pit and try to light them with a match can you? Does that really work? NO!!!
So what do you have to do to get the fire going?
Kindling!
That's right, you can't start it with logs, but possibly some rolled up newspaper with plenty of air to have the small little flame from the match breath and grow while feeding on the easily digestible thin paper. (Are you starting to see the connection? Keep reading… It gets better!)
The small little flame from the match needs paper or moss to light. Then the paper and or moss produce a bigger flame for the small twigs to handle.
Once the small twigs start burning really good, you can add more twigs and some larger sticks broken up to burn. Now you have a fire and you can place a BIG LOG on the already lit flames.
As the fire burns all day long, you keep adding logs and sticks to the flames till it gets close for bedtime.
When bedtime approaches, you let the fire slowly die down so you can easily put it out right before you go to sleep so you don't burn down the forest. (But really, if you were stranded like savior man, you would let it burn and smolder till you got up in the morning… But that's different.)
This analogy really is directly linked to your metabolism.
If you just think of your body and energy like a camp fire, you will do just fine!
You see, our metabolisms are like a raging furnace burning all day long, and all night long. We constantly need food to provide the calories to keep us going. ("Yah Jeff, got that, what's that have to do with my Jelly Roll?")
Remember what happens to the fire if you try to through a log on very first thing in the morning? NOTHING! The log just sits there no matter how many times you try to light it!
Now, even if you kept the fire smoldering all night and it never really went out, then through a log on. Does the log catch fire right away if its placed on some hot coals that don't have a flame?
NO!!! It just sits there and roasts! Not catch fire till you play with it a whole heck of a lot and add some sort of kindling helper.
Now…. What's this have to do with your body? And fruit juice? EVERYTHING!
You see, since your body is a furnace, you can't stack a log of eggs, bacon, and pancakes in the furnace and expect it to catch on fire. Unless… You add a lot of unhealthy surgery syrup on the plate with some coffee (Gasoline) to boot!
Now, by the time you ate all this and drank the anxiety causing caffeine, your jittery and just packed on 4 pounds to your jellyroll. (See, I told you there was a connection… Right… On with the fruit juice.)
Fruit juice is natural, and it has a high glycemic level.
Wait a minute! "I thought High Glycemic was Bad?!?!?"
If all you eat is high glycemic, then ya. You're going to get fat… But let me explain.
Remember the kindling? That is an example of a high glycemic food.
If all you did was burn a high glycemic kindling like paper in your fire, you would have a really BIG FIRE! For about 5 Minutes… And that's it… Then you would have no fire for the rest of the day till you burned more paper, and that would last you for another 5 minutes.
So, same thing happens when you eat nothing but sugar and junk right? Candy gives you a sugar rush but then you crash.
You need to use fruit juice like it is your fire starter in the morning. Drink down about a half a cup to a full cup of juice, let it sit in you while you go prepare for the morning.
While your showering and getting ready, your body is taking the juice and creating the starter fire for the day.
After your shower, eat something. At least after your done getting ready for work.
Go get some oatmeal or something. Yes, Carbs!
You see, this is the next step. The carbs from the oatmeal will be able to burn better now that your metabolism is burning, and the carbs will keep you going like some big twigs!
So what about the big sticks and logs???
That's why fitness trainers tell you to eat protein with every carb you put in your body. The protein is like a big log, and the big log will slow the burn of your smaller twigs to sustain you through the day! As long as you tend your fire regularly!
That means eat plenty of veggies and eat a sensible complex carbohydrate rich meal WITH PROTIEN during lunch, then veggies and pieces of fruit till dinnertime. (And dinner really should not be that heavy of a meal like most Americans seem to believe is necessary.) And you will feel great!
So, fruit juice can and should play a role in your diet, unless you are diabetic then listen to your doctor.
Just remember, think of your body like a campfire and make sure you tend to the fire all day, and let it simmer for night time. Use the fruit juice to start the flame or the heavy meals you eat will sit on your belly like a log on a campfire.

What happens if you let apple juice sit?
well what else, it becomes lazy. ;) couldnt help that - most fruit juices if left alone would ferment.
What is better for you non concentrated or concentrated apple juice?
Concentrate juice is usually extremely sweet and would be difficult to drink as is. You must dilute with water to make a more drinkable juice. The advantage is that you can control how sweet you want it to be.
If you buy juice already diluted from a concentrate, it's usually weaker than what you would have it if you diluted it yourself. Usually, companies will pre-mix a juice and make it weak just to get the most out of the concentrate and thus maximise revenue/profits.
What are the disadvantages of apple juice containing pectin and starch over filtered apple juice?
Personally, I prefer unfiltered apple juice. I can't stand the clear stuff. Pectin is a natural substance and is used to make jelly. Starch is found in foods containing complex carbohydrates and is better for you than it's cousin the sugar (simple carbohydrates.) I would say that the only concern would be if you are buying some natural food brands of apple juice. Not all are pasturized and if it is an organic brand there is a chance that their fertilizer has E. coli that could get into the juice. This is very unlikely but some people have been infected with E. coli from unpasturized apple juices and ciders.
Dear insightful questioner, I have thought for many days about this until i put the pie down my pants. It was like... soo squishy and i say this is a good way to keep your amazing apple cider apple juice fresh. Love,
Your friendly neighborhood spiderman
