Athena's main weapon was her intellect and her knowledge in combat, she is usually Zeus's strategist when it came to war. Besides that she carries the Aegis, a shield that Zeus also used, the shield represents the face of Medusa, foes that look upon it are usually either stricken with fear or driven back by it.
