They live in Mexico. There are still more than a million speakers of Nahuatl (the language of the Aztecs). Most Mexicans have some Amerindian blood from the Aztecs and other native tribes such as the Maya, the Tlaxcala, the Apache, the Comanche, the Navajo etc. The Aztecs although they were defeated are not extinct, this is a common misconception.

yes there are still Aztecas today... There are recorded numbers of about 1/2 a million descendants from Aztecas. I searched my heritage and my genealogy and found i am a descendant and that my family came from the eagle clan. So yes there are still Aztecas around. Go to native pow wows in North American. I myself and other Aztecas travel around usually do blanket dances or little shows to show what type of dance and rituals we did or if you really want to see Aztecas go to Mexico and learn about them.

I'm unable to show pictures. However, Aztec homes were typically made of adobe bricks and featured a thatched roof. They were often arranged in a multi-family compound called a calpulli. The homes were simple in design and constructed with local materials.
