What is value of Louisville Slugger 40 TCJ?
The designation 40 BR (Babe Ruth) was a secondary line of retail store model bats. In general a Babe Ruth store model bat could be worth between $200. -$500. Besides condition there are many factors that will effect the price more or less. Baseball bats closest to the players size and model number that was used during his playing days will sell at a higher price. Decal bats are very desirable and could sell in the $1,000.'s
The dating of the bat is one of the most important factors on value along with condition. Hillerich & Bradsby Co. Louisville Slugger has used different oval center brands in their history. By identifying the center label, trade marks, and patens you can narrow down the year to what era the bat was made.
TRADE MARK REG US PAT OFF appearing below the oval would date your bat to the 1911-1929 labeling period. If the bat is in excellent condition it should sell in the higher half of the price range stated above, more if "minty".
Which type of bat can make the ball go farther wooden or aluminum?
First of all, it depends how good you are or how strong you are at hitting the ball with the bat. Secondly, the specific material, weight, and how cylinderical the bat is, come into the equation.
My perception is that the aluminum bat will make the ball travel farther as with the wood, the ball could make a bit of a dent and the velocity of the ball may decrease causing it to loose a bit of speed after it is hit by the bat, (taking into account that the dent is miniscule).
Hoped this helped :)

What size catchers mitt for a 7 year old?
I would at least go with an 11 inch glove and possibly an 11 1/2. The 9 inch gloves are really small and will not be usable in a year or two. I would recommend that you get a glove that is game ready....it is basically broken in for you. I do not typically agree with the charts out there that recommend the small glove for this age.

What is the value of a 1941 Rawlings baseball glove?
The bulk of the value on most baseball gloves rely on player endorsement. Without an endorsement the value will rely on vintage baseball glove features such as web design which includeds single, and double tunnel, and H style webs. Baseball Gloves from the 1941 era, also known as pre-war gloves were for the most part split finger gloves that had no lacing between the fingers. Condition of the glove will be a major factor in value.
Common flaws with Gloves are: loose or broken lacing/webbing, Dry or cracking leather, ripped or missing manufacturer label, worn printing/player endorsement on the glove, and the name of the owner of the glove hand written on it. All or any will effect the value.
In general a glove from this era without a player endorsement in excellent condition is worth about $25.-$35. I will leave a link below to a varity of vintage baseball gloves that you can compare with to come up with a value.
What is the correct way to tie baseball cleats with flap?
well, the way I've always done it was to lace them like regular shoes, then I wrap it around my foot and tie it in a double knot on top of my cleats. I don't know if there is necessarily a CORRECT way to lace cleats, but this is how I've done it for about 5 years, and it's worked for me!

Is it permitted to use a fast pitch bat in a slow pitch game?
I don't know what the "legal" umpire answer would be, but I do know that fastpitch bats are made lighter so they can be swung quicker. It seems like you would want to use a slowpitch bat in slowpitch for the extra power you would get from the extra weight of the bat.
There is no rule against it as long as the bat is an approved bat in the league you are playing in, i.e. ASA, USSSA, ISA, NSA.
