Since there have been only 23 perfect games in major league history, many teams have never had a pitcher hurl one. The teams that have won perfect games are: the Cleveland Indians, the Boston Americans (now the Red Sox), the Chicago White Sox, the New York Yankees, the Philadelphia Phillies, the Los Angeles Dodgers, the Oakland A's, the California Angels, the Cincinnati Reds, the Montreal Expos (now the Washington Nationals), the Texas Rangers, the Arizona Diamondbacks, the San Francisco Giants and the Seattle Mariners.

Depends on the hitter, bad swings break bats, swing correctly with good sound fundamentals at the plate and there should not be an issue! But of course aluminum usually lasts longer than wood. But swinging with wood forces you to swing correctly, so it is way better for your development.

It is one nickname among many others referring to the New York Yankees.

Since 1915, only two "major" leagues have been in existence; and literally hundreds (if not thousands) of players have been on teams in both leagues.

During the seasons of 1914 and 1915, the Federal League operated; and baseball history officially recognizes this as a "major" league. Scores of players -- including six future Hall of Famers -- played in this league as well as either the AL and the NL; so most likely dozens have played in three major leagues.

Likewise, a few entire TEAMS jumped from the Player's Association (1890) to the American Association, and then to the National League. Thus, some players went through three leagues in just over three years!

I doubt anyone has played in four leagues that are presently and unambiguously considered "major."

Henderson surpassed Cobb as the MLB leader in runs scored in the 2001 season and Bonds surpassed Aaron and Ruth for 3rd place in the 2007 season.

As of the 2007 World Series, the record for consecutive base hits is 12 and is held by Pinky Higgins of the 1938 Boston Red Sox and Walt Dropo of the 1952 Detroit Tigers. consecutive hits in one game (modern day): On June 29, 1970, Ceasar Gutierrez, Det. Tigers, became the first MLB player to hit 7 consecutive. 12 inning game. (I'm pretty sure it's been done since.) CONSECUTIVE HITS: As I see the question, it is not only in one game and even tough it is registered that Walt Droppo fo Detroit had 12 consecutive hits in a streak during the 1952 season, John Kling of the Cubs in 1902, according the SABR has that record -12-, tied by Droppo. It was done from the 24 to 28 of August. By the way, nobody else has done it without walks in between. In one game? Rennie Stennet of the Pittsburg Pirates has the modern record of 7, considering 9 innings (September 16, 1975). César Gutiérrez did it, as shown above, in 12 IPs (June 21, 1970) with Detroit; the only ones.

According to mlb.com, Chase Utley of the Philadelphia Phillies was the 34th player in MLB history to hit a home run in his first World Series at bat. I could not find a complete list of those that have accomplished this feat but some of the others that have done it are Troy Glaus of the Angels in 2002, David Ortiz of the Red Sox in 2004, Dustin Pedroia and Bobby Kielty of the Red Sox in 2007, Gene Tenace of the Athletics in 1972, Andruw Jones of the Braves in 1996, and Jose Santiago of the Red Sox in 1967.
