Yes. There is a large colony (100,000-250,000) of Mexican free-tailed bats that migrate to Colorado in the summer and live in an abandoned iron mine. This is the largest colony in Colorado. Other than that, I don't have any more specific details about bats in Colorado. I have seen bats during the summer in various places in Colorado, but only a few here & there - nothing like the large colony at the Orient Mine.

How are micro bats and mega bats alike?
