I have this terrible cold I take ativan and zoloft can I take coricidin to help my cold?
There shouldn't be a problem as long as you are taking the amount prescribed of your medications and follow the dosage information for coriciden. However.....

Don't ever, ever use corriceden. It is filled with nasty stuff that is good in small amounts for actual colds, but when abused is very unsafe. Use Robotussin cough gels. The only active ingredient listed is Dextromethorphan Hbr.
and yes, at high levels DXM (the active ingredient in CCC's or Robotussin) can interact with SSRI's such as Zoloft and cause some nasty problems such as Seratoinin syndome, high blood pressure, heart problems, hypertension...
Buuuut as long as you are taking everything normally, you -will- be fine!

Dose anyone know if Lexapro considered a benzo? NO, definitely not! As a matter of fact, I do not know of any current SSRI antidepressants that have BZE's (benzos) mixed with or included in there manufacturing process....

yes it most definitely will, but it might not have time to show up in your urine. I emphasize "might not" show up in urine.

You need to speak to your pyschiatrist. Maybe seroquel would help - it is fast acting. Therre are many SSRI's,so you may need to switch to another one that is effective.

benzo's after 12 hours of taking the drug half of the milligrams that you took are out of your system then 12 hours later half of that is out of your system say you took 20 milligrams 12 hours later you would have 10mg then 12 hours later 5mg then 12 hours later you would have 2.5 still be in your system so on and so on so another words your either lieing or you took a whole **** load

Is there a saliva drug test for Xanax?
There likely is a saliva test for Xanax. I know this because I am a patient of a methadone clinic for heroin use and the clinic tests monthly for all illegal drugs as well as "bezos"(xanax). The reason for this is because methadone and xanax combined have side effects that doctors look down on(overdosing being one effect). This is not a definate "yes" to the question but considering how much the methadone clinic staff does not want it's patients using "Xanax" then I am certain that the mouth swab given to me tests for it.
Everybody's different. You have to find the right dose for you. 0.5 mg doesn't effect me either. But 1 mg for me, is perfect. I say I f 0.5 mg isn't cutting it, try 1mg. The doctor is just starting you off on the lower dosage because for some people 0.5 mg is perfect. Try the 1mg. You'll be fine.

vistaril is a mood stabilizer. i take 200 mg 3 times a day. it all depends on what your doctor thinks will best suit you.
Could you mix codeine and Xanax?
You could but it's advisable not to. Both are sedatives. Codeine is an analgesic anti-inflammatory. Xanax is a Benzodiazipine used in treating Anxiety disorders.
How do you compare strengths of a 1mg xanax to a 1mg Ativan?
I would consider the Xanax much stronger.

Can you take meloxicam and Xanax?
Yes you can.
Meloxicam does not affect CNS so it will not potentiate your xanax.
Also they affect the body via very different mechanisms so it's ok to take them together.
