Need reasons why female budgies suddenly get aggressive and bite and tips how to stop it?

Female budgies may become aggressive and bite due to hormonal changes, territorial behavior, stress, or feeling threatened. To mitigate this aggression, ensure they have a spacious and enriching environment, provide plenty of social interaction, and handle them gently and consistently. Additionally, you can establish a routine to help them feel secure and consider consulting an avian vet if the behavior persists, as it may indicate health issues.

Who hatches the eggs of the hoouse finch the male or the female?

The chicks hatch (=gets out of the egg) themselves with a tip of their beaks, "the egg tooth". It will later disappear. They will come out when they have grown too much to be inside the egg. Mother nature will take care of this event, and it's very rare that the parents help the chicks. They know the chicks have to get out themselves in order to live.

If the chick does not get out of the egg, it's weak and too small, and would also loose the battle for food with it's siblings - that's why a chick like this guietly and gently sleeps away soon after it fails to hatch. The parent might also eat it after it's dead to gain protein and other useful nutrients.

It's nature, and mother nature does not do anything that isn't supposed to happen. The chick just wasn't suitable for living.

I need some help because i dont know wether my budgie is male or female so please can you help me?

You have to wait about a year, once they are adults then you will be able to tell like the person below said the males have a deep blue above their beak (kinda like their nose) and the females have a dark crusty brown nose, almost like a brownish red. When they are babies their noses will be white. Also budgies will start loosing the lines on their heads when they are adults so yeah. So it all depends on the age of the budgie, so just be patient. :) good luck I had the same issue too when I got my budgie! :D From. echub As adults, male budgies have a blue cere (the part above the beak, where the nostrils are), and females have a tan cere. Immature budgies, however, are different: young males' ceres are a purple-pink colour, and young females' ceres are pale blue with white around the nostrils. Cere colour changes with maturity. (When a hen is in breeding condition, the cere further darkens to dark brown, sometimes appearing "crusty".) Exceptions to the above rule are albino, lutino, and "creamino" (pale yellow/cream) budgies, whose ceres often remain the same throughout life.

How do I Raise a well behaved bird?

Bird behavior refers to the actions of a bird in response to environmental situations. Some bird behavior is inborn whilst other behavior is learnt. Behavior includes caring for itself, feeding and interaction with others (birds, humans, other animals). To develop a happy and satisfying relationship with your pet bird it is important to understand its behavior. Birds view people as part of their flock and therefore act accordingly. Dominant behavior by birds is displayed when the bird believes it is head of the pecking order. It is thus very important to establish the pecking order with your bird as the subordinate. A dominant bird may develop “bad” behavior such as biting or screeching. It may feel it needs to defend its territory against disliked people and attack them. Such behavior by birds can be avoided by keeping the top of the bird’s head level with your chest. Do not allow it to perch above you or on your shoulder as this encourages dominant behavior. Bird behavior can often be interpreted, much like a foreign language. Tongue clinking is an invitation to interact. Grinding of the beak indicates contentment. Panting is a sign that a bird is overheated or perhaps uncomfortable. A sharp flick of the wings demonstrates annoyance. Observe your pet bird’s behavior carefully and you will gain much insight into their state of mind and their general well-being. Preening is an important part of bird behavior as it keeps feathers in good condition. Preening involves the smoothing of feathers by stroking the feathers with the bill. Preening behavior by garden birds may include dust baths and splashing around in water. Bird feeding behavior may change due to temperature, season and time of day. This is especially evident in the feeding behavior of garden birds. In winter they are more likely to make use of bird feeders due to a lack of natural food sources. Your pet bird may begin bobbing his/her head when hungry or excited by the prospect of being fed. Many birds expect to be fed at a certain time every day. Some species are very messy feeders and feed with great vigor. Bird behavior is intricate and fascinating whether you are observing the behavior of garden birds or your own pet bird.
