When Sebastian narrowed down the search for Jack the Ripper to a man named Viscount, Madam Red arranged for Ciel, Sebastian and Lau to attend a ball where they could investigate Viscount. The only way for Ciel to get in without being recognized was to dress as a girl. It's episode 4 of the anime if you want to watch it.

Unfortunately, Netflix hasn't said why they removed it. It can still be rented through their DVD system. But it is no longer available for direct streaming.

on the contrary, there is another season. i have a friend who has seen the first five episodes, and they are still making more. funimation should have them up in youtube soon. and if you have seen the 25th episode in the first season, after the credits it has the trailer for the so called new series called "black sushi chef" apparently THAT is the third season. I still have yet to find the website that has it! :)

wrong. that is not another season and there is not one. i feel like if there ever will be, and there are rumors, it will be in yearss. it is an anime so actors dont really age. maybe theyre pick it up in 10 years? i hope? we can wait :P

Well, on the last episode of BB2, I was searching through the comments, and a person has said that there WILL be a season 3, but it depends on what the fans say; Continue the series with Sebastian teaching Ciel demon ways? Or a new butler and master? However, I am not 100% sure how true this is, but since I am a HUGE fan of BB, I keep my hopes high that there WILL be a 3rd season.

Marie Antoinette's year of death is 1793, and the earliest reference found to the legends of Robin Hood are from 1228. From today's date that was 784 years ago, and from the date of the Anime/Manga roughly that was 661 years go. He would be considerably older than that.

The answer to that question is yet unknown. His eyes were only recently revealed in the Manga, Yana Toboso has not revealed yet how he received his scars. So anything up to this point is purely speculation from fans.

it is found out that Sebastian does not take Ciel's soul because his soul went missing. you find out that another demon named Claude has taken Ciel's soul, and when Sebastian retrieves it and gives it back to Ciel, Ciel has no memories of their contract ever being completed, i don't want to give any more away than that. but yes, Ciel is alive in season 2.

Ciel Phantomhive gets tortured when he was younger because he was supposed to be sacrificed to a religion. they tortured him because they where bad people and he was so young and weak they took advantage. they raped and beat him within an inch of his life for a month. then once they where about to do the final blow Ciel thought "there is no god. if there was why would he let them do this to me?" and Sebastian heard him and offered him a contract in exchange for his soul once his revenge has been fulfilled.

Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler the Manga made its first debut in Japan in October 2006. It is still being released, and it is ongoing.

Kuroshitsuji/Black Butler the Anime first premiered in Japan in October 2008.

Since then Season 1 has been fully released, along with Season 2, 7 OVAs, and 2 Stage Musicals.

There is at present no word of whether or not there will be a 3rd Season of the Anime, but fans are ever hopeful.

yes there is, accroding to chinese fansites that i have been on, they are set to start filming in April in Japan. However the story will be complete original. Apparently it would be set 130 years after the actual story and most likely be about them (Sebastian & Ciel) living in the modern world after Ciel becomes a devil. Sorry ,but you must have gotten confused. it is not an actually episode it is just a scene in the manga. keep this in thought the manga from the anime is different in some ways, that occurs in all anime and manga.

This is EVERYTHING, from the beginning of Season 1 to the end of Season 2, so I hope you have the patience to read this:

SEASON 1:

- Ciel lost his parents.

- Ciel makes a deal with Sebastian (a demon): his soul for the revenge of his parents' deaths.

- The deal then becomes a contract.

- The concept of the contract is that Sebastian can have Ciel's soul in exchange of assisting him in the adventure to seek out his

parents' killer, however, not anytime before that.

- Until the time comes to retrieve his soul, Sebastian is to serve as Ciel's butler.

- During a fight with Madam Red (Ciel's aunt) and Grell Sutcliff (a Grim Reaper), Sebastian loses his arm, the SAME arm that contains

a pendant on it. This pendant is the mark of proof that they made a contract with one another. This same pendant is located in Ciel's

right eye, hence why he is always wearing the eyepatch.

- Closer to the end of Season 1, they realize that an angel named Angela was the one responsible for the deaths of Ciel's parents.

Upon finding out about this, they [Sebastian and Angela] duel, but the Phantomhive manor is burned down in the process, along with

the streets of London.

- At the VERY END of Season 1, Pluto, a guard dog of the Phantomhive Manor, loses his life, as he is controlled by Angela into

destroying the manor and the streets of London, along with Madam Red, and Angela loses her wings thanks to Sebastian.

- LAST EPISODE: Sebastian sits Ciel down and prepares to eat his soul...

SEASON 2:

- At the very last minute, before Ciel's soul is eaten, it is stolen by Claude, a different demon butler, under the orders of HIS

Master, Alois Francy.

- Thanks to the fact that Sebastian lost the arm that contains the pendant, he no longer has any proof that he claimed Ciel's soul,

which means it is basically up on the table for anyone who wants to take it. Alois wants it because apparently, Sebastian had made

a contract with Alois's brother, Lau, MAN YEARS PRIOR and ended up eating HIS SOUL as well. The contract: Alois's happiness in exchange

for, you've guessed it: the soul of Lau.

- Sebastian fights to get him back (as if he does not, then all of the events of Season 1 would've been in vain) and he brings him

back.

- When the ring is placed back on Ciel's thumb, his soul returns to his body, but his memories are very much damaged. That is why

(if you may have realized) he has no recollection of the death of Madam Red or Pluto. He doesn't even remember the revenge that

he sought for his parents. All he remembers is that Sebastian is his loyal butler.

- Claude decides to take advantage of all of this, and, still under the orders of his master, he retrieves Ciel.

- Digging deeper into the story, Hannah, one of Alois's servants, is also a demon; understand that now.

- This contract involved the happiness of Alois in exchange for, yes, you've guessed it: Lau's soul.

- This is where the confusion starts to develop: why on earth would Claude want Ciel's soul if he belongs to Alois? Well, simply

because Ciel's soul has a "nice taste" to it, Claude couldn't possibly let it go to waste. And during fight between Alois and Ciel,

Ciel loses some blood (as he stops himself from coming to harm with the blade of a sword using his hand) and Alois is stabbed. The two

butlers come just in time to help and Claude gets some of Ciel's blood on his face, as Ciel slaps him and orders him to "unhand him."

As Sebastian and Ciel leave, Claude actually LICKS some of Ciel's blood. Automatically, his interest turns to him.

- Why does Claude kill Alois? He used Alois as a tool to get to Ciel. Not only that, but Alois also claimed his love for Claude, and

you simply cannot "claim your love" for a demon.

- Claude figured out a way to merge Alois's memories with Ciel's and that's how Ciel ended up getting possessed by Alois. This is

possible because although Alois was killed, his soul is STILL INSIDE of the red ring he always wore. Claude slipped this ring onto

Ciel's index finger.

- Ciel fights to bring himself back, and at the last minute, he ORDER Sebastian that until he consumes EVERY LAST BIT of Ciel's soul,

he is to remain his butler forever.

- Despite everything that happens (which isn't really all that important compared to the TRUE ending), Sebastian ends up killing

Claude.

- Now here, you'd think it'd be the end. Ciel gets his soul back, Hannah and Alois are no more and Sebastian can feast. Wrong.

- Alois, it turns out, has one more trick up his sleeve. He makes a SECOND contract with Hannah to kill Ciel and bring him back as a

demon, as demons do not have souls to be feasted upon. Not knowing this, Sebastian kills Claude anyway.

- The rest is basic common sense: Hannah jumps over the ledge and into the water below while still clutching Ciel's body. Sebastian

goes in after them, and again, he has NO IDEA about this SECOND CONTRACT that was made between Alois and Hannah. Once Ciel awakens and

his eyes are red, that's when Sebastian realizes what was done. Now think about this: one of the VERY LAST order given to Sebastian

by Ciel was that until he consumed ever last portion of Ciel's soul, he will forever remain Ciel's butler. Ciel was just turned into

a demon; demons have NO SOUL to consume. What does that mean? Sebastian was tricked into becoming Ciel's butler for the rest of eternity.

Final question: why did he leave the Phantomhive Manor? The others were bound to notice what had happened to Ciel eventually, about

how he became a demon and such. Who would want him around if that were the case?

As for where Sebastian and Ciel will go... I guess that's up for the makers of Black Butler to decide. :)

I hope this clears it up. If I missed something, bring it up and I'll call it out.

At this point the answer to that question is unknown. When we find out, the Manga will most likely end shortly after.

The Black Butler anime is about a 12 year old kid named Ciel Phantomhive. He is the heir to the phantomhive household. Both his parents are dead and all he has are his goofy and 'screw up prone' servants and his butler.

An Earl like Ciel, Alois Trancy, had made a similar contract with a demon named Claude Faustus. Claude had stolen Ciel's soul after Sebastian's arm was cut off in the last episode of season I, breaking Ciel and Sebastian's contract. So, Ciel's soul was open to take. Claude had then put Ciel's soul in the Phantomhive family ring, storing it beneath the Trancy manor (in the basement storage) in a New Moon Drop tea box.

Alois had let Sebastian into the manor, not knowing who he was. Sebastian took Ciel's soul and resurrected him. Until the end, it is a constant battle between the two demons for Ciel's soul. The ending is rather surprising...

Although he was hit by a stray bullet, the earlier statement contradicts the main theory.

The section where people talk about what Bookman said, that was to do with his hair that lavi pulled out due to the pain.

The more plausible and canon theory for Lavi's eyepatch is to do with his role as a Bookman and his memory.

No. Unfortunately for Sebastian, during the battle with Angela/Ash his arm that contained the seal for his contract with Ciel was torn off, thus voiding the contract between the two. This gave another demon Claude Faustus, the chance to steal Ciel's soul leaving him in a comatose like state. (by taking his ring I'm assuming) Later when Sebastian is able to retrieve Ciel's ring from the Trancy household (Alois Trancy and his butler Claude Faustus) Sebastian is able to revive Ciel, however, Ciel has no memory prior to the incident and remembers nothing of the revenge against Angela/Ash and the Queen. So in order for Sebastian to consume his soul, Sebastian must help Ciel take revenge again. However, Sebastian is not the only one after Ciel's soul, Claude is also looking to devour Ciel's soul, So Sebastian and Claude decide on an agreement that will make Alois Trancy (Claude's current master) the Target of Ciel's revenge (Their doing this to prepare Ciel's one of a kind soul to fit their appetite which will be even better when Ciel has completed his quest for revenge). When the revenge is completed either butler will have the chance of devouring Ciel's soul.

The explanation given in the manga is that Sebastian was the name of the family's dog, which presumably perished in the mansion fire. This is the name given to him by Ciel. Besides that, Sebastian is an incredibly common Japanese butler name, such as an Alfred or Jeeves in America.

being a demon, Sebastian doesn't know emotions such as loving another human. Meyrin though, has a huge crush on Sebastian but he does not have the same feelings for her.
