120 over 80 is kinda textbook the norm. so 143 over 80 would be high, but it also depends on what is normal for the individual & the age & even meds. But most would say that needs to come down.

It actually depends on the age. Assuming the individual is over ten years of age and is a healthy adult, a normal pulse rate would be somewhere from 60 beats per minute to 100 beats per minute. It also depends how physically active you are. Athletes tend to have lower pulse rates. If your pulse is WEAKER than usual, then it could be a sign of some sort of health issue (blood clotting, heart disease, etc...).
