Do 1987 BMW 325 series have abs brakes?

The neighbors I am working on does have an ABS light that is on. So I am assuming yes. But double-check your model. Reason I am working on his is due to the pulsating grabbing the brake pads have on the rotors when applying the brakes. Also another reason the ABS light may be on is due to the warped rotors are fowling what the ABS should be doing.

The oil drain plug is located slightly to the left (drivers side) on the under neath the oil pan. It requires a 17mm socket to remove. Remember to replace the metal washer for the drain plug and the rubber "O" ring on the oil filter before reinstalling. The 1998 BMW 750 IL 5.4 liter V12 requires synthetic oil. (8 Quarts). The oil filter is located inside the engine compartment (driver side) it is a canister type oil filter. Unscrew the lid and the oil filter will come out with the lid. You'll have to pull slightly on filter to separate it from the cap. Replace the "O" ring and pop the new filter on to the cap. The small hole opening matches up with oil cap. Pour oil into the oil canister housing about 1/2 to 3/4 full, then slowly insert the oil canister (filter and cap) back into the housing and screw back. Make sure the oil drain pug is secure and then pour your synthetic oil in. The oil cap is located directly in the middle of the engine compartment towards the front of the engine but rear of the radiator fan. It's square shaped with a picture of a oil can on it. Unscrew and remove, and pour in the new oil. When completed replace the oil cap, start the engine and let it run for five minutes. Check the oil dipstick for the oil level and add if necessary and replace. The oil dipstick is located on the right side (passenger) of the engine, towards the front.

What is the dash light with a circle and a exclimation mark in it in a 2000 BMW?

BMW uses several symbols on the instrument panel that have a circle with an exclamation point in it. There is one indicating that there is something wrong with the automatic transmission, one indicating that there is something wrong with the brakes, and one that means that a bulb is out somewhere.

Without actually seeing the symbol, I can't tell you which one of these is on in your car. Generally speaking, if the symbol is yellow it's a warning and if the symbol is red that means you need to take the car in for service as soon as possible. Check your owner's manual for more detail.

________________________________________________________

Yeah... that symbol refers to the brake system. If the engine is on, and the parking brake is also on, the dash light will be on. However, if the parking brake is off, and the light is still showing, it means you're low on brake fluid. Nevertheless, you should pay a visit to your mechanic.

Are Used BMW cars a good value?

It is all the matter of opinion. In my opinion, a used car is cheaper, but still gets the job done. So I would say they are still of some value, I'm not totally sure how much it would be worth. If you want to check home much it's worth try asking a car dealer and they may be able to help you!

Where can you find used BMW cars and how much do they cost?

I can only think of BMW used car dealers who are certified with the BMW corporation. After that, you would have to show for a used BMW like any other used vehicle.

Are used BMW cars sold for cheap?

Used BMWs are only cheap in price because they actually make very attractive, high quality pre-owned cars. They don't become old, they become classics. The cheapest way would to go would be to purchase from a private owner. Either way, you are investing in a beauty for years to come.

What are the pros and cons of leasing a BMW?

Leasing a BMW is a more cost-efficient way to own one of these luxury cars. You pay the value of the car during the lease, and when your lease is up, you have the flexibility to trade for a newer model, re-lease, set a price to purchase the car, or simply retun it. Some of the drawbacks of leasing your BMW higher insurance rates, and mileage restrictions. If you drive a lot, leasing might not be right for you.

Are there any guidelines on how to find the best BMW lease rate?

Car sales are down by a large amount. This causes a problem, dealers are desperate to make a sale but can't afford to offer a big discount. The best time to get the biggest discount is the last weekend of the month as the salesperson will be on a monthly target and desperate for the sale.I have had 3 BMW's over the last 10 years and never paid full price, play one dealer off against another, get quotes from on-line lease companies (which are good value) and go to a dealer with your credit card or cheque book and let them know you're prepared to do a deal there and then if it's better than the others.
