How do you sanitize a lip ring?
Keep in mind that sanitize and sterilize are two different things. Sanitizing isn't suitable for a new piercing, only sterilization. Anyways, you can use alcohol or boiling water. Like I said, if this is for a DIY piercing, it greatly increases the risk of infection if you only sanitize it.
No way to be sure exactly how long. They're still pretty new so they'd close pretty quickly.

Can you put peroxide in your mouth when you have a tongue piercing?
Short answer is YES. It's a forehead smacking question though. Why do you want to put peroxide in your mouth? Here is what my dentist said. The peroxide used for whitening is A. not the quite the same as the stuff sold in the first aid department for the store, and B. not swished about in the mouth. Peroxide causes gross looking bumps to grow on the tongue and softens enamel on your teeth which makes them more susceptible to cavities. So, over all, peroxide is not a good idea in your mouth. Yes, you can use it even though you have a tongue piercing. Our suggestion, if you are just hoping for disinfection, is Cepacol or Listerine, swished intently for two to three minutes. Yeppers, a full two minutes. Trust me, your eyes will be tearing up by then, but your piercing should be pretty clean and sanitary. Leave the peroxide OUT of your mouth for reasons that have NOTHING to do with your piercing. Yes, I have an oral piercing I have had for over twelve years. I have had numerous conversations with more than one dentist about that piercing and it's effect on my oral hygiene. (ie--broken teeth)
What to do if your nose piercing comes out?
I have heard and read that this can happen a lot. If you still have the stud, try to put it back in, or visit your piercer and ask them for help. If it is lost, visit a shop or piercing place, to buy a new one. If the hole is closed up, and you cannot insert the stud, then I recommend booking in with a piercer, and getting it re-pierced..
I hope this helped:)
Where can you buy clear retainers for your belly piercing?
I would go to Body Art Forms. I've ordered from them many times and so have a lot of my friends. They're very reputable and have amazing customer service and shipping times. I'll attach the link.

Can you bring your own body jewelry to a piercing shop?
yes, it'll cost you way less!
*You can but its a better idea to use whatever they have. Initial jewelry has to be the proper length to allow for swelling. Theres a pretty good chance that what you have is too short. Also, it has to be the right material. The jewelry also has to be autoclaved so if it actually is the right length, you'd have to bring it in early for them to sterilize it in the autoclave and they'd definitely charge for that. So it isnt actually that much cheaper. Its way easier to just let them use their own jewelry.
No.

Is A and D good for piercings?
I assume you mean A&D ointment. You should only use A&D ointment for new tattoos and other skin rash or irritation issues. For piercings it is recommended to use a mixture of sea salt and warm water (1/4 teaspoon of seasalt to one cup of warm water) More salt is not better, it will irritate the piercing. Also be advised I am not a medical professional, I just have alot of experience healing tattoos and piercings
Where is the vein to look for when piercing a tongue?
I really have no clue, but please, don't pierce your tongue! It can cause many dental problems, like receding gums, a swollen tongue, and it's especially painful. Nobody uses and pain-number when piercing tongues. The tongue ring can also scratch the enamel off teeth, causing you to get a ton of cavities and eventually your tooth to fall out. It can also cause tooth pain. If you pierce a nerve or a vain, your tongue could swell so much you would suffocate (it happens pretty often), or your tongue would permanently hurt so long as you kept the ring on. Seriously, do not pierce your tongue!!!!!!
Even though some of the above is correct, it doesnt really answer the question.
Don't pierce your tongue yourself. You risk infection, disease contraction, and severe blood loss. Go to a professional and they'll know where to pierce it.

Why is iodine bad for a nose piercing?
Anti bacterial liquid soap lathered and diluted with water daily while showering is all you need. There is no real reason for salt soaks, or the over priced and more often than not useless aftercare products most piercing studios try to force people to buy.
The piercing is a puncture wound, iodine and other first aid products are not designed nor intended to be used on these forms of injuries.
Over use or improper use of so called "cleaning agents" can lead to the formation of a lump, bubble or pimple next to the piercing, this is often misnamed as a "keloid", when in fact it's actually a Hypertrophic reaction.
Stick to shuffling the jewellery daily under running water in the shower and your piercing will heal nicely without all the fuss and hassle of using concoctions that actually slow the healing.
Are navel piercing infections dangerous?
Yes, because the piercing is so close to your vital organs so if you think yours is infected get it sorted ASAP hope it helped ;) x
----Any infection is dangerous. I doesnt have much to do with its placement. If it goes untreated, it can get into your bloodstream(sepsis) and once that happens your health deteriorates VERY quickly.
Why do some people have cracks in their tongue?
some people have cracks on their tongue because they were born with a disease or infection in their mouth when they were born.( And if you ask how I know......... my step- father has that on this tongue and I ask him and that's what he tells me.!)
you can do a lip piercing yourself although i do not recommend it for sanitary or infection prone purposes you may also go to a tattoo parlour and have it pierced there.
