How did the arrival of British troops in Boston set the stage for the Boston Massacre?
Ok, you and your sibling live in different houses, but have been fighting for months, because even though you live in different houses, your sibling wants you to live by their rules. Now, your sibling sends their friend to live with you in your house. That's basically how the Boston Massacre became.
You = America
Your sibling = England
Your sibling's friend = the British troops

What was the significance of the massacre on the ice for Russians?
The Teutonic Knights of Europe (Germany specifically) went to Russia to convert the Orthodox Russian Christians to Roman Catholicism. Alexander Nevsky (Named for the river at which he defeated the Swedes in 1240), the "hero" of Russia led his army to a frozen strait. When the Teutonic (German) knights attacked the ice broke and most of the knights, horses and supplies, were lost to the river.
This "saved" Russian Orthodox Christianity and later this victory would serve as a "rally" cry during WW II, when the Germans invaded. Soviet posters adorned with Nevsky's image and his victory against the Teutonic (Germans- see the connection) knights. He would be like a "Davy Crockett" for Americans, or some other heroes you might think of being used as a symbol of patriotism in the US.

What was the importace of the Boston Massacre Boston Tea Party and the Shot Heard Around the World?
The Boston Massacre was a tussle between citizens and British troops that got out of hand and was then used as a propaganda ploy to incite further opposition to the governing and taxing policy of the British government.
The Boston Tea Party was a protest against subsidized prices of tea from the British East India Company being sold in the colonies. The Government reaction to it was closure of the Port of Boston, among other things, and this, too became part of the agitation against governing policies.
The "shot heard 'round the world" is a fanciful term for the first shot fired during the face-off between British Troops and the Minutemen on Lexington Green. No one knows who fired it, but it began the hostilities that became the American Revolution.
The phrase "shot heard 'round the world" has also been applied to the skirmish at North Bridge in Concord, Massachusetts, later that day and to other, unrelated gun shots, including the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, leading to the Frist World War.

His engraving was most definitely anti-British. Showing the crowd as peaceful and the soldiers as organized and deliberate, which was the farthest thing from the truth, shows the Americans in the best light and tries to gain sympathy for their cause.
And have you ever heard the saying, "The British are coming, the British are coming!"
Well, that was Paul Revere warning the Americans
Why do the Boston hate the british soldiers in April morning?
Boston was a major city in the colonies and didn't "hate" anyone. On April 18, 1775 when the battle at Concord happened no side hated the other. Everyone in the colonies thought of themselves as British ( many still did after April) and the king was the king. You will note that there is over a year difference between Concord and the Declaration of Independence. No one wanted war or to kill the British troops when it all started, but after Bunker Hill it became clear that there would be war. The king sent in thousands of troops, closed the harbor in Boston and laid siege to Boston cutting off supplies. The people of Boston were burning church pews and any wood they could find to keep warm that winter. Prison ships were also established in New York harbor where eventually thousands of Americans would die and placed in mass graves. These things and others made it necessary for the colonies to rid themselves of the king and create a government.

Was Thomas Preston Guilty for the Boston Massacre?
Captain Thomas Preston was the British Redcoat who supposedly told his fellow Redcoats to fire but, he did not, it was Private Hugh Montgomery.Private Hugh Montgomery was struck down onto the ground by a club. When he recovered to his feet, he fired his musket, later admitting to one of his defense attorneys that he had yelled "Damn you, fire!".It is presumed that Captain Preston would not have told the soldiers to fire, as he was standing in front of the guns, between his men and the crowd of protesters. However, the protesters in the crowd were taunting the soldiers by yelling "Fire". There was a pause of indefinite length; the soldiers then fired into the crowd. Their uneven bursts hit eleven men. Three Americans - ropemaker Samuel Gray, mariner James Caldwell, and a mixed race American sailor named Crispus Attucks - died instantly. Seventeen-year-old Samuel Maverick, struck by a ricocheting musket ball at the back of the crowd, died a few hours later, in the early morning of the next day. Thirty-year-old Irish immigrant Patrick Carr died two weeks later. To keep the peace, the next day royal authorities agreed to remove all troops from the centre of town to a fort on Castle Island in Boston Harbor. On March 27 the soldiers, Captain Preston and four men who were in the Customs House and alleged to have fired shots, were indicted for murder. -jennalynn72
