Regarding species, there are three recognised species of bottlenose dolphin:
The baby dolphin is born after 11 to 12 months in the womb. Between 3 and 6 years old, the dolphin leaves its mother. Between 5 and 13 years old, female dolphins mature and go back to the band in which they were born. Males (at 12 years) find a female to breed with. Females breed till their 40s. Males die at 40 years old, females at 50. Then it all begins again.

Baby Dolphin = Calf
Female Dolphin = Cow
Male Dolphin = Bull
Dolphins mare marine mammals, which means that the females have an uterus just like cows and people, and that they deliver live young. And they do it in the water, and (all else being equal) there will be several females around, all of whom will help the baby get up to the surface for it's first breath. They give birth to a calf after 11 to 17 months gestation depending on the species from small dolphins to Orca.
Why are bottlenose dolphins endangered?

Do dolphins always stay in the same habitat?
Some species are monogamous, others polygamous.
The answer is actually one dolphin or monogamous, meaning they have one mate for the rest of their natural lives. They are actually more intelligent that we are, but very much like us in the sense that they are the only other species in the world that enjoy sex for activity and that they are one of the few species that inhibit signs of jealousy and treachery... not to say that dolphins are bad people.
Polygamy is like mating without a solid partnership or taking many spouses. Apes would be polygamous, meaning that they would mate with every female in the tribe, though take no partner. In some middle eastern countries, men would take more than one wife.
To be honest I have never heard of a bottle-head dolphin. see related link, you will find a list of dolphins, porpoises and whales, unfortunately it isn't listed.
