I have a 1995 Riviera and the air filter is located on the drivers side underneath hood you will find a large coiled hose and you just remove the clamp and it is fairly easy to
to put on.
the firing order is 12784563 you can also check valve cover still maybe on there
or go to 401 nailhead-v8buick.com

You would have to send the pcm out for a reflash at "intense racing". They also do other upgrades to the pcm will reflashing

Changing Serpentine Belts and Idler Pulleys
Tools Needed: 15 and 18 MM open end and socket wrenches
40 and 50 female Star wrenches
50 male Star wrench
Jack to lift engine
Begin by supporting engine, use blocks do not lift on pan unsupported. Use the 15 and 18 mm wrenches to remove the motor mount bolts. Loosen the two 15 mm studs and slide motor mount up out of the way. Loosen the stud at the bottom left of the bracket (motor mount bracket) it is behind the pulley, loosen only. Loosen the nuts on the other two studs. With the 40 inner star socket remove the stud from the block. The lower right stud is a 18 mm nut loosen and with the 50 inner star socket remove this stud. Caution there is a spacer between the bracket and the block. Now if you have loosened the lower left stud you should be able to move the bracket to get to the idler pulleys. Remove and replace them with a 50 star wrench.
Place the drive serpentine belt on the inside of the crank pulley, thread it around the idlers correctly and under the bracket legs so that it is clear. Do the same with the turbo belt.
Check that the belt is centered on all the groves and not off a grove.
Replace the studs and spacers, tighten nuts, replace motor mount and tighten nuts. Remove the jack and blocks. Start engine your done
It is easier to just fix it the right way. But to answer your question, this is how you would by pass the security key. 1st you have to determine the Ohm reading for the security system. For this you have to either have the correct security key that goes to the car, or you have to have a special machine to decode the system. If you have the key, then you will notice that it has a built in "resistor" chip in the key. Use an ohm meter to determine the resistance of the key chip. Then go to radio shack and purchase a resistor with the same ohm rating. Then you will need to locate the wires under the dash that go to the key lock cylinder-NOT THE AIR BAG. Their are 2-wires that are orange or yellow-about the same gauge as a telephone jack wire. Cut the wires and solder each end of the resistor to each wire. You have now bypassed the security key, and key lock cylinder.
As you can see, it would be a lot simpler to just fix the original problem, which is usually just a broken wire on the keylock cylinder in the steering column. The key lock cylinder MUST be replaced. If you try to just solder the tiny little wire it will work for a few weeks, but will break again right next to the repair.
Same problem, feel the pain. So far we replaced the easy thing like the fuel sensors under the back seat. Made no difference, it would do the same thing. We are replacing the fuel pump, will keep you posted to let you know if that worked.
That was the only thing we could come up with when all sensors are working right, and the darn thing (pump) isn't working at all times. Usually if you are trying to start the car and it doesn't start you can open up the fuel tank lid and listen for the fuel pump running, if it isn't you can bet it is done for even if it starts going again after it decides to work again.
Truly frustrated with you, wait until you have to buy won,$$$.
had same problem .turned out to be my icm ,ignition control module
try this when your car dies ,pure a bottle of cold water on the coil pack .if it starts rite back up then your icm is overheating and is now heat sensitive ,so you have to replace it .
i had the same problem recently and well i replaced the fuel pump found it o e bay really cheap regular part shops have it for almost $300 but it was under $150 and then replaced my air boot the big hose that is connected to the engine and the air filter due to the fact that it had a little gap and a little too much air was getting into the engine.
It could also be water in the gas tank.
It's near the top of the radiator on the passenger side. It is upside down, tucked under the radiator support, and has a red cap on it.
This happened with my car. It sucked! All I can say is I had to replace it with a used one ($50 or so) and it been fine ever since, and that was a couple of years ago. I'd be surprised if you could get a new one. To do this you need to remove the instrument panel cover. To do that you remove four torx screws (two above steering wheel and one in the top of each vent) and it will pop out from the clips that hold it in place. Four more torx screws, and two wire harnesses later you should be good. Not to hard at all. This happened with my car. It sucked! You access the pump via the trunk, remove the fabric liner carefully so as not to damage it and then look for the fuel pump access plate underneath near the back seat.
Unlike what the manual states you do not need to remove the gas tank to do the replacement.
Carefully remove several bolts that hold the pump in place, remove the electric harness and gas line fittings and then replace the pump unit.
DJP
The speakers are rather conventional. They are single cone about 5" diameter for the woofer/mid range and of course the tweeter is mounted in the upper front corner and is about 2 1/2".
The official coolant is Dex-Cool (orange). However, you can use yellow. Do not use green
You need a harmonic balancer puller, and a 1/2 in drive inpact wrench.
cHECK THE FUSE IN THE FUSE PANEL.
