Cyber bullying is when there is a person or more saying mean things to you over the internet for example Twitter, Facebook and Ask.Fm, or when someone is talking dirty or sexually to you over the internet on the same sources given above.

A cyber-bully can involve sending insulting and threatening text messages through communication devices like cellphones or PCs or send offensive emails or messages on platforms like MSN and Yahoo Messenger.

Cyber-bullying can also take place in MMPORG situations. For example, in a game like Grandano Espada, a higher level player can deliberately attack a "newbie" or someone much weaker in strength than him or herself. In the game above, when a character gets "killed", so long as it is below level 50, it will spawn back to life again at the place when it was killed after 60 seconds. Then, the cyber bully strikes again, killing the just spawned character. This cyber bully repeatedly does this and as a result, prevents the newbie from playing. It is akin to a school yard bully who waits for a grade 1 child to sit on a swing and then pushes him off into the sand. And then, he waits again for the child to get back up before pushing him back into the sand again.

Hey, my name is Kylie. I lost my boyfriend to cyberbullying. He was in a gang of course. And these gang members had found him on myspace. Kept telling him he wasnt going to live to see his children grow. And he needed to watch his back everytime he walked around or drove around somewhere. He got really scared one and day and called me up and asked to speak to his daughter. Of course she was only 2 at the time and couldn't speak much languege. But knew that it was DAddy on the phone. So I put her on and he told her he loved her and he will see her soon. Then he told me the very same thing. But more. He said he didn't want to see me cry. And he asked if I would love him always and forever. Of course I said yes. And that's when I heard the gun shots. He shot himself. And i drove straight to his house and found him. It's a really serious thing.

One example is;"do you know how stupid you are?" there are LOTS of other ones, so hurtful that they may end up as a reason to suicide. It is not a game. People may die of grief from this, so I ask of you; if you see cyberbullying, PLEASE contact a vandal patrol, or supervisor IMMEDIATELY. We don't want any cyberbullying on this site, EVER.

Best friend cyberbullying:

My name is Jess & I was cyberbullied by my best friend on Facebook, she called me horrible names & things that I didn't like. I did respond but not as badly as my friend did to me! It went on for a while and finally it stopped when my mum called my friends parents and told them of the situation. there parents were horrified and couldn't believe what she had done, they were so angry at her that she deleted her Facebook and told her never to make another account! it is a really serious thing and i don't like it!

I have been involved in drama and theatre for a long time, so I think I can help. Although there are many different approaches, here is my advice:

1) Start with a person on stage or entering the stage. This should be a normal character, with no particularly outstanding traits, so that it can be relatable to the audience. This could be made into two people, or a larger group.

2) Next, have the bully enter the stage. This could be a physically threatening bully, a verbal bully, or any other figure that poses as a threat in anyway. Get creative with what the bully wants, how he plans to get it, and the reactions of others on stage.

3) Have him bully the "normal character(s)" on stage. The conflict should be established almost immediately after the bully is introduced. It should be clear what kind of relationship the bully and the victim have and how the victim feels about being picked on. Don't be hasty to end this conflict. It creates tension, which is a great tool to have in a scene.

4) If you choose to have the bully threaten the victim physically, do not let the conflict escalate into violence. Unless both actors are trained in stage combat, this should not be attempted.

5) Depending on the requirements of the scene, it can end in several different ways. If the bully succeeds, you should show the victim afterwards reflecting how he/she feels about it. If the victim succeeds, you should also show him/her afterwards reflecting on how he/she overcame the bully. If an authority figure enters to break it up, maybe show the bully reflecting on his wrongdoings. These emotional factors will bring a good element to your scene.

People bully because they are trying to be cool. Bullies think that by hurting someone else that it will make them more popular at school. Bullies can bully in many ways but bully victims need to open up to an adult to try and solve the problem. If you have been bullied or are being bullied don't be afraid to share your story. Remember that there is help out there.

I believe child abuse and neglection would almost be the same. But I think abuse is more of a physical thing of harming the child. And neglecting is just leaving the child behind. But both meanings deal with leaving the child hurt and feel unloved.

It's probably relative to the number of kids standing up to bullies elsewhere in similar cultures (or even different cultures). There will always be bullies, and hopefully, there will always be a few kids that stand up to them.

Many people have endured traumatic events in their lives that could possibly cause them to bully others. Not to use this as an excuse for people to bully others, but a lot of time, there are personal reasons behind the bullying. Whether it be family problems, sexual or physical abuse, or some sort of traumatic even that occurred in their lives, there is typically more to the story. Also, when a person suffers from an inferiority complex, they tend to "step on others to make themselves higher." In this mentality, they feel better about themselves when others look worse than them.

Child bullies grow into adult bullies because nobody stopped them when they were younger and told them it was wrong. They often start as children who may have been exposed to a violent childhood (e.g., being abused as a kid or watching their parents abuse each other). They then think this is the norm and right so they grow up thinking they should beat up their girlfriends/boyfriends. Because nobody stands up to them, they go though life thinking their behavior is normal. They learn that intimidation works and that it gives them what they want.

Most people bully when they have home problems. I use to have a lot of home problems and I did bully people. And I'm now ashamed :(. I realize that I was stupid. Some people think they won't have friends if they're nice to other people. Like no one will think they're funny. Others have once been bullied, so bully for revenge.

A threat can be a part of bullying, but threats can occur on their own. A regular threat might be a one-time thing directed toward some immediate action. A bullying-related threat is usually related to bullying and feelings that already existed before the threat was made.

The fact that someone is bullying someone else is all that matters. The victim may do something to themselves to stop the bullying if they are desperate enough. This could be something very dangerous or life-threatening even.

well 2 million kids in the world get abused a year and a quarter of that is emotional abuse so i am pretty sure if you do the math well you look and see how many kids are in Canada and do the ratio so about 4 thousand kids in Canada get abused a year
