f(x) becomes f(3) because the divisor is x-3 and 3-3 = 0
f(3) = 33-3(3)2+3n+5 = 17
f(3) = 3n+5 = 17
f(3) = 3n = 17-5
f(3) = 3n = 12
f(3) = n = 4
So the value of n in the expression is 4 which makes the original answer correct.
