Does a pair of aces beat 3 queens in poker?
The first card led to a trick establishes the suit for that trick. All players must follow suit if possible. A hand which has no cards in the led suit (and thus cannot follow suit) may play any card on the trick. If the card played is a trump, then the suit will be won by the trumping partnership, even if the ace is played. Thus, the ace of the led suit wins any trick which has not been trumped. The highest trump played to the trick wins a trumped trick. Note that when the contract is No Trump, the ace of the led suit always wins.

The new market for 3D accelerators and 3D acceleration features has spawned a large crop of 3D video cards with varying capabilities. There are several different approaches that are taken to providing a system with 3D capabilities. While the available cards and technologies are changing rapidly, you will generally find that the cards on the market break out as follows:
* 2D Only (Conventional) Cards: These are regular video cards that do not incorporate any special 3D acceleration functions. Usually these are either older cards, or newer cards that are optimized for 2D performance. When using a card of this type, it is necessary to pair it with a 3D card to obtain 3D acceleration functions.
* Dedicated 3D Cards: These are accelerators that are designed only for 3D hardware functions. Since they do not do conventional 2D acceleration, they need to work with a 2D card in most cases to deliver good 2D+3D performance. Most of the higher-quality 3D cards are of this variety. They typically use a feature connector to connect directly to the 2D card. This lets the 3D card perform its acceleration functions to provide a video stream without requiring its own RAMDAC or bus control logic. This is generally the best solution for high-end graphics but it incurs the cost of two video cards.
* Combination 2D+3D Cards: In an effort to tackle the cost problem of using an additional, separate card for 3D acceleration, many companies are developing cards that perform both 2D and 3D functions. For many users, this is a good, cost-effective compromise. Most of these cards provide from moderate to good 2D performance, and support for some to most of the 3D acceleration features. However, like most compromises, these cards typically don't provide the level of performance or feature support that dedicated 3D cards do. It is important to research these cards well, since many of them support only a small subset of the 3D acceleration features found on 3D cards.

In cribbage how much do you score with 2 jacks 2 queens and a king?
Well, J-Q-K is a run in Cribbage (one point for each card in a run), so you would count the run three times with a different Queen each time, so that would be 9 for the triple run. Then, you get two points for each pair, and with three Queens, you have three pairs that you can count, so that is 6 for the pairs. You don't have any combinations that make up 15, so your total is 15. I'm assuming that you are counting points for the Jack (if any) separately, as well as any Go during the play.
How do you play k's and a's the card game?
hi,
its really easy and fun too do!
first you need to have at least 3 players! its a lot more fun with four or five though but you can't play it with two!
the order of the cards from highest to lowest is
two
ace
king
queen
jack
ten
nine
eight
seven
six
five
four
three ( if you have the three of spades in your set then you start)
the game starts with the 3 of spades and you go on until someone puts the highest card down and no one else can play a card.
you DO NOT have to play a card EVEN if you can play it.
you can put two three or four of the same number down and it works just the same (people have to put two three or four of the same cards with are higher)
suits DO NOT MATTER in this game!
after one section is over you continue playing until everyone has lost their cards.
however in the next game at the very beginning once every one has got their cards the person who won the previous game gives the person who lost the previous game their two worst cards (e.g... 3's) and the person who lost gives the person that won their two best cards (e.g....2's)
its really fun to play and is easy when you get the hang of it!
Is there symmetry in all Playing cards?
No, because of the numbers in the upper left and lower right corners.
