The same as any other color of parakeet. Large millet seeds, canary seeds and small sunflower seeds. Also, vegies and cuttlebone for calcium. You can find the right mix for them in any pet store.

They live outside (in nature) so I think ... 17-26 degrees is perfect for them. They need fresh air. But if parakeets used to (accustomed to) live in (room or something) with 25 and more degrees, immediately (quickly) changing the degrees in room can lead to disease and the parakeet can be sick.

Oh! I asked this question myself when i got my parakeet! You can very easily tell how old your parakeet is, just by looking at the lines on it's head. You must estimate though. There is no exact way of knowing how old your parakeet is unless you watch it hatch. If the black lines on a parakeet's head are very very close to it's beak, it is a very young bird. As the bird gets older, the lines on its head by its beak seem to disappear. if there are lines on the back of a parakeets head,expect it to die soon. Parakeets don't live that long.

It depends on how they have been raised. Male or female can be just as friendly. It take a little while for them to trust someone. They all have different personalities and some are going to be friendlier than others.

You clip a parakeets wings the way you do any other birds. You hold tall of the wing feathers in one hand then you have to look for the 6 non-nerve feathers there is only 6 on each wing but to be safe I would suggest that you bring your parakeet to the vet they will do it for most likely around $30.00 which is not to bad compard to if you cut the wrong wing and had to go to the vet for an emergency.

Noodles should be fine for parakeets, as an occasional treat. Don't feed them egg noodles (although these are probably still okay). My cockatiel likes spicy ramen soup. I've had to keep him from climbing into the bowl.

Well I think a parakeet can die if you are not giving it a proper diet I suggest giving your parakeet apple, and berries,also giving it other fruits and veggies try giving your parakeet at least once a month boiled egg. make sure when you give your parakeet human food you cut it into very tini pieces

Depends on what's going on with the birds. If they have eggs or babies, the reason is obvious. If no eggs/babies, some birds like to "hide out" and/or enjoy the comfort and security of enclosed places like a nesting box.

They can, but the egg will obviously not have an embryo inside. This laying causes an incredible amount of stress to the bird, so she must receive calcium supplements. If the egg is removed from the nest/cage, she will likely lay another one, so some pet stores or bird specialty stores carry fake eggs to put in, that won't rot like real eggs, and that will lower the likelihood of her laying more.

Yes, but they probably shouldn't if they are both males, because the older one will pick on the younger one and/or they may not get along too well. Have a second cage on hand, just in case, and let them get to know one another before just forcing them together.

You will know when your budgie birds are ready when the pair start to be more active. A male will feed a female and they will tap the beaks together. Just know that a female budgie will be ready when she has a brown/tan color above the beak. (you must have a nest box for the bird to lay her eggs.)
