What happens when a carpenter make mistake in measuring?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

then he must have to do that thing all over again as if one thing will be wrong all process will be wrong

- - - - -

It depends on a few things.

If it's one board and the measurement is too long, you can cut the board again.

If it's one board and the measurement is too short, the board can't be used in that place. This doesn't mean the board is bad, just that it won't fit where you wanted to put it. You can save that board and use it somewhere else.

If it's a large area you measured wrong, the effect depends on how you measured it wrong.

This is why we always measure twice.

Pros; Outdoor work. You learn how to remodel, and build your own home.

Cons: No work, can't find work, no female coworkers, dirty, dangerous, dusty, sweaty, too hot, too cold, once a laborer-always a laborer, it's hard on the body.

More Pros: Carpentry is lots more than just building houses ... carpenters can also build furniture, bookshelves, outdoor patio furniture and patio decks. A carpenter can be as creative as they want. And yes, there are female carpenters - some very successful ones at that.
