A favorite story of my husband - he fed his cat Tigger a slice of bologna (young guy out on his own & being out of catfood. Later that day he noticed something shadowy near the cat's tail and upon closer inspection saw that it was the bologna plastic "ring". He got a hold of it and immediately Tigger danced away and did a little jig upon the exit of said plastic ring. No other side effects noticed.

I really don't think anything can be lactoseintolirant. On an unrelated note, cows can potentially be lactose intolerant.

Like in cleaning itself? My cats do that, they find a part of their fur that is "unclean" and they bite at it, then lick it clean. They don't draw blood though, so if your cat is hurting itself by biting all the time, or drawing blood; you should take your cat the vet and have it checked out. Or, it may be because of fleas, the cat maybe biting itself to itch where the fleas are.

As long as you have a cat that sheds, you will have cat hair on your clothes. Give up, go get a good lint roller with a lot of refills, and accept that you are GOING to get cat hair on your clothes. I find myself picking out clothes by how well cat hair will blend in. Sorry, but it seems to be part of the price for owning a cat!

With cats and dogs, they do a lot in the relationship, but you and you alone understand morality, good, bad, mean, nice.... and you are the one who needs to take control and make sure they don't make mistakes that anger or hurt you, or make you want to be mean.
