The easiest way to get started is to get adhesive scrapbook paper, stickers, double sided tape, and ribbon.

Your local craft store will have most of these items. I have also seem buckets decorated with marabou or feather trim with the ribbons.

I used the adhesive paper to cover areas on the bucket that we didn't want to be visible. (The bucket was the color of the team). Then we used stick on letters and various other stickers and stars to decorate with.

Cheerleaders typically make between 50 and 100 dollars a game. They are encouraged to take other jobs because cheerleading is not a full time job.

It depends on the time of the game. Cheerleading does not affect your normal life, you still eat normal, and at normal times of the day. If the game ends before dinner, make sure to eat dinner. If the game is after dinner, eat dinner before the game. Hope that helpss!(:

Umm... I think you're confused. You can be both. Flyer are the person flying in stunts and tumblers do all of the flipping. You can do both

For a less expensive option I use Futuro which are available at most drug stores

cheerleading tryouts in middle school are easy if you are prepard and all you half to do is rember the cheers that they each you and do 1 of them at tryouts then you half to pay if u make the squad.

3 girls would put a girl up in either a full-extended, half, a one leg which the flyer can choose scorpian, heel stretch, lib, or aerobass, and basket tosses and the flyer can choose which toss she does. There are probably more but those are the basic- need to know to be a cheerleader- stunts.

Being anything in cheerleading is a good thing. You are privileged to be doing cheer as a sport because it takes a lot of hard work and determination to be anything in cheer. Being a flyer, everything is put on you to make all the stunts look really pretty by keeping a tight shape and locking out your knees and arms. Being a flyer you don't have to do a lot of the work just the icing on the top. Without the flyer there would be no stunt.

At my gymnastics they put a foam padding material(almost like tape) on before they put on the tape. it keeps the tape from rubbing your hands or wrist.

No, mascots are generally chosen because they have the most personality. It takes a really fun, energetic person to display emotions through a mascot suit. If you are not satisfied with being the mascot, and still would like to be a cheerleader next year, I suggest getting as much outside coaching as you can. Join an all star gym, get private coaching, take a tumbling class, whatever. Do whatever you can to improve your cheerleading skills.
