Yes... shows up as opiate's. But if you have to take a drug test and don't want it to show the night before, drink a lot of Dr. Pepper make sure you drink 1-2 20 oz of DR. Pepper thirty minutes before the test. Also and it will show caffeine, and that ingests DR. Pepper and absorbs the codeine.

Hydrocodone and Oxycontin contain the same active drug... oxycodone. So 10mg of Hydrocodone and 10 mg of Oxycontin have the same amount of Oxycodone (10 mg) in them. The only difference is that the Hydrocodone contains Tylenol in addition to the Oxycodone. So on the Hydrocodone bottle it might say something like 10/500. So the Hyrocodone in that instance has 10 mg of oxycodone and 500mg of Tylenol.

CORRECTION: There is NO codeine in Dilaudid, both are opiates, but Dilaudid is hydromorphone, while codeine is, well codeine. Dilaudid is a fully synthetic opiate, while codeine is a naturally occuring opiate from the Poppy plant.

Our nieghbor,Canada, offers low dose codiene product OTC. In the US, low dose schedule 5 is supposed to be available over the counter with a signature and showing the pharmacist your drivers license. Why the pharmacists will not allow people to buy it is because of some sort of state law or just the phobia of drugs in the US. Ask a trusted local pharmacist, perhaps they will help you or refer you to a physician so you can spend several hundred dollars just to get a small bottle of 8 mg aspirin codiene. Presently , it is allowed for us citizens of Washington to bring a 50 count bottle of tablets, or 1 bottle of cough syrup from Canada. Dont try to bring 2 bottles, and don't hide medicine, be honest and forthcomming and do not mess with our border people....for obvious reasons. You can bring back 1 bottle of 50 count aspirin codiene 8mg.-they are allowed.

That depends on several factors, most importantly, body weight and tolerance. If you use opioids/opiates regularly, you will need a higher dose to obtain the desired effects due to tolerance. For a non-tolerant person, the dose would be between 50 and 200mg. However, as said, the doses needed to obtain effects goes up with increased body weight.

It is also important to take note of the fact some people are allergic to codeine. If you are one of those people, even a small dose might trigger an allergic attack which might be fatal.

It is generally a rule of thumb that you do not mix "uppers" (i.e. amphetamine, ephedrine, cocaine, etc.) with "downers" (i.e. diazepam, alprazolam, opiates, alcohol, etc.) as certain combinations of these substances can prove fatal. However, I have in the past taken hydrocodone and adderall together for recreational purposes and suffered no ill effects. The key is to closely monitor how much you ingest, and to not go in search of a third substance once you are under the influence.
