How much does a four year bachelor's degree in accounting cost?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The best way to know how much it will cost you to get an online bachelor degree in accounting is to request for free information from several of the accounting degree online colleges with a bachelor's degree.

The tuition varies for each college. The Southern New Hampshire University charges only $302 per semester credit hour. Western Governors University charges a flat fee of $2,890 per 6-month term. While doing an online degree one of the main qualities to look for in an institution is regional accreditation. This type of accreditation is more credible than its counterpart, national accreditation. Compared to nationally accredited schools, more employers recognize degrees from regionally accredited schools and bachelor degrees from those schools are accepted in more graduate schools should you choose to further your education. Also, some states require degrees from regionally accredited schools to sit for their CPA exam.

How much is LPN tuition?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The average cost of LPN school hovers around the $10,000 area, all fees included. But in major cities, the cost of LPN school can be as high as $25,000, not including the cost of books and other supplies. Private colleges and universities with fast-track programs tend to have the highest LPN tuition.

Community colleges usually offer the best deal - in-county residents may pay as little as $4,000 for the year, while out-of-county students pay double that, and out-of-staters pay double what out-of-county students pay. State schools that receive government subsidies tend to have the most affordable LPN tuition. It's a persuasive argument for staying close to home to get your LPN certificate.

For some positions, a master's degree in industrial hygiene or a related subject is required. Advancement opportunities in State and local governments and the private sector are often similar to those in the Federal Government. Specialists and technicians with broad education and experience and those who are well versed in numerous business functions usually have the best advancement opportunities. One way to keep up with current professional developments is to join a professional society, such as those that offer the certifications mentioned earlier. These organizations offer journals, continuing education courses, and conferences, which offer learning and networking opportunities and can help workers and students to advance. With an advanced degree, professionals can become professors or do research. Promotion to senior specialist positions is likely to require an advanced degree and substantial experience in several areas of practice.
