Without seeing it, I would guess that the antique value is nonexistant. The name "Danial Boone" is unrelated to the American frontiersman and is only there to sell the shotgun. It is possible that the gun is American manufacture (Crescent City made thousands of inexpensive shotguns with every name brand you could imagine) or it could be a Spanish or Belgian shotgun. In any case, it is not a Purdy or Winchester or other brand which would command "antique" value. If the gun functions, it would be considered a field piece and could be worth a few hundred dollars. If it is worn out, it is a wall hanger and would not be worth the cost of restoration.

We just bought a Crescent Firearms 20 gauge single shot at an auction in Walterboro, SC (outside Charleston) for $95 and from what I understand, it's not worth any more than that in great shape. I've done some research online about it and looks as though you will only be able to get parts made by a good gunsmith. The parts are no longer available.

Sorry- these have been out of production for a LONG time- the largest source of used parts for these is probably gunpartscorp, and THEY are out of forearms and stocks for Victors. These were not high dollar guns when new- parts may cost you more than a complete gun is worth. You can check with some of the gun forums, and check gun shows in your area for used parts that you can use. Wish I had a better answer, but sometimes parts are just no longer available.

Its quite simple as that it ejects the shotgun shell out of the gun after it has been fired but this depends on the type. A double or single barrel shotgun would only eject the shells when u hit the release mechanism to reveal your side of the barrel then they eject out.On any other type shot gun where u load 8 or have a clip they generally fling out the side when re-cocked or if automatic they do this automatically. In 1893, they began making bicycle chains, and that same year, H&D Folsom took over the company's financial control. In 1929, N.R. Davis Firearms Co., then owned by Warner Arms Corp., merged with Cresent to become Crescent-Davis Arms Corp. Because of financial crisis, business continued to decline, and they were forced to sell out. Savage Arms Co. acquired Cresent-Davis in 1931, assembled guns from the remaining parts, and these guns were sold under the Crescent name only. In 1932, the city of Norwich, CT, took over the Crescent property for non-payment of back taxes. After the Norwich facility was closed, manufacture was moved to Chicopee Falls.
