That's a difficult one, I'm a girl and once are twice I've told a guy i liked him and then said i didn't. The reason for me is that i was afraid he didn't like me back. But with some girls there just not that nice and they'll do that to guys. I once had a girl in my grade that would ask out every loser, sorry if that offended any one, and then five minutes later she would dump them. If you think she's not lying the go for it and ask her out. if you think she is then play it by ear if her friends can be trusted then ask them. but for now just lay low and don't ask her friends tons of questions. it kind of bothers girls, are atleast it's always bothered me.

Well if you want to impress him then be yourself. You don't want to be someone your not because if he liked you back before you changed for him he wont like you anymore. I'm in love myself and i act like I'm all cool and swag until i realized that he liked me for who i was not who i turned into. So just be yourself. That's a tough one, but not impossible. First, you have to assume that the girl is only with the guy because she has been with him since forever and she is kinda used to having him around, but the fiery passion that once burned in her breast every time she saw him is now reduced to something like a cigarette end. If you believe that, you're in with a shot. Right now though, she doesn't know you exist, so she has to at least notice you, so make it your business to be where she is. If she's on the vollyball team, let volleyball replace football in your heart (for a while), go to her games, make a point of saying "good game" to her afterwards. Find out what she's reading for pleasure, get a copy, read it as fast as you can, and say to her, "Oh, I notice you are reading "Passages." I was wondering what you thought of Chapter 7." She has to realize that there is another man out there who is interested in the same things that she is interested in. an interesting person is almost different from everybody. there are many different types. like a girly girl who likes black, or someone who likes school but hates homework. The main thing is that an interesting person has a completlely different point of view from everyone else's. For me, an interesting person will like the rain and will dance with me when it rains, likes poetry, who doesn't choose sides but try and fix it, like the lyrics and the beat not just because its a popular song, not caring what other people thinks, will speak their mind or ask questions no one ever thought about asking, who notices little things, who don't take time for advantage but spends it on how he/she likes it.

If you are dating you must be able to converse to some degree - maybe you could try and ask her. I realize it sounds easier said then done being a shy individual but you may find having such a conversation with her may help open some doors for the both of you with one another - a step in trying to put your shyness aside with each other.

It sounds like it is a subtle way of asking if you would have any time to go somewhere with him, with or without others. Probably he is too shy or embarrassed to ask you straight out. They act that way because they are afraid of you and what you might say. Or they may really desire you, but they don't want you to know that they do. They may act this way so that you dont know they like you, because they are afraid of rejection. Perhaps they are around their friends and don't want to be embarrassed. - Usually guys are VERY shy and don't like to make the first move.
