What is Dave Matthews' song Crash Into Me abou?
Asked by Wiki User
Considering Dave Mathews autobiography: had a girlfriend and was madly involve with her! three times has offered her a ring but she refused :-( i would like to refer to the disappointment he felt...
it is clear that this song unfold an obsession to a women - one women - his biggest love which he never overcame.
the song lyrics goes on to the kinky side of a men expressing his special weird way of doing things, here Dave tells us how he perceive himself.
"You got your ball you got your chain" means: i wanted us to have a ball and get married.
his major wish is so simple: "Into your heart Ill beat again Sweet like candy to my soul".. actually this line say it all - i just wanted you to love me back and accept me as i am!
and now here is what Dave Matthews said:
"This song is about the worship of women, but this is a little bit of a crazy man, he's the kind of person that would get called the police on, some guy sort of peering in keenly at like his neighbors or something, young girl moved in or something..." and he later says "so i wrote this song about it rather than actually, uhh, peering in the window for fear of being arrested."
I admire you for that song and love it so much

What song does the Dave Matthews Band sing in the television commercial for a car?
Asked by Wiki User
AMERICAN BABY ==Clarification== "100 Years" is the name of the song, Five for Fighting is the band, and "The Battle for Everything" is the album. It wasn't a car commercial, but a Chase credit card commercial (obviously didn't do its job if we don't remember the product.) The Nick Drake song mentioned below is used in an actual car commercial, but doesn't sound as much like Dave Matthews as Five for Fighting does. I think you might have meant 100 Years, Five for Fighting, The Battle for Everything. I heard that commercial too and was asking the same question. I wondered what that song was for years. It's called 'Pink Moon', by Nick Drake.
