Are you supposed to lose your back teeth?
This is a difficult question to answer without more information.
If you are talking about your baby molars then yes, you lose them and they are replaced by the adult premolar teeth. You lose these between the ages of 9 and 12. At this time your adult first molars are usually already erupted and your adult second molars are just starting to erupt. See the tooth eruption chart below.
If you are referring to your adult molars then, no, under normal circumstances you should not lose them. We routinely extract the wisdom teeth (adult 3rd molars) however loss of adult teeth usually indicates some kind of disease process, such as Periodontal Disease.
Hope this helps!

How will the dentist treat a tooth with a small hole in the front of it?
The whole is most likely from a cavity so they will put a filling in it. Most likely the dentist will get you numb. When you are numb they will drill out any decay and then shape the whole so it will hold a filling properly. If it is a front tooth, you will get a tooth colored filling. If it is a back tooth, you could get a silver filling or a tooth colored filling. That depends on your insurance, the docotor and you. If you have more questions, the dentist should answer any of them before beginning the work.
Why are molars sometimes called wisdom teeth?
Because by the time you get them, you are old enough and smart enough to grab pliers and rip them out yourself instead going to the dentist and giving them a ridiculous amount to do it when you have all of the tools to do so in your shed.
Does medicare cover impacted wisdom teeth?
This depends of the country you live in, and even the province or state. It also depends on the policy you have, even within the same provider. The best thing would be to contact your local dentist, or the dental section of your hospital, or your insurance provider and ask them.
There are also dental plans that are not insurance, but offer reduced rates that might help reduce the costs of extractions.
What happens when you develop a cavity in your tooth what kind of change?
a hole forms in the enamel. it can be caused by many things. but decay begins and this hole progresses until it eventual reaches a nerve and becomes infected.
It might help a little, but if your father or mother have gapped teeth, you probably will too.
AnswerWhen your wisdom teeth will come out, if you have space, they might close some gaps between your back teeth. It is less likely that they will help closing the gaps between your anterior teeth. To do so, it is better to do an orthodontic treatment.
I had gaps between my anterior teeth, like my grandfather did. It was corrected by braces in middle school within only a year. My wisdom teeth came in and still have plenty of room. I found that my teeth tend to move outward, so I still wear braces overnight at least once a week, fifteen years later.
AnswerAlthough my teeth are straight, I have gaps in them due to their shape (normal teeth are triangular, mine are square) or so my dentist says. Because the teeth are already straight (not needing braces^), my dentist said the solution to my gaps is porcelain veneers. He also said that braces would only force my teeth together, and that they would constantly be moving back to their original place because they were already in the correct position. I had my wisdom teeth removed while they were still impacted. My mother also only had gaps in her upper front teeth, and when her wisdom teeth erupted they pushed her upper and bottom front teeth together, eliminating the gaps, but also causing her bottom teeth to become crooked. Waiting for you wisdom teeth to erupt is not the best solution to the gapped teeth, seeing as how they could cause other complications.Does getting 4 teeth pulled at the same time hurt?
no...i had 2 of my teeth pulled out the other day so I could have a brace fitted it didn't hurt me at all. the dentist will numb your mouth first you shouldn't feel any pain. hope this helped :)
Can wisdom teeth start coming in at age 13 and a half?
Yes, 13.5 years is very early but still within the normal range for wisdom teeth eruption.

Could you get your wisdom teeth out when your 10?
While it is possible, because every child develops differently as they mature and grow, having problematic wisdom teeth (3rd molars) that require removal at that age would be quite unusual. Wisdom teeth most often do not require removal until at least age 16.
Can you have all your teeth removed and replaced with denture?
hmm well i am in no way clued up on this subject but after a quick look around the net it becomes apparent that yes you can have all your teeth replaced with full dental implants this is something i have just started to look at myself. but with not much mentioned about cost , this is probably one of the better alternatives to replacement teeth if ur looking for fixed teeth. it can be done as long as you have enough jaw bone left, this may be determend by if u still have teeth at the time of getting implantes or indeed how long u have been without teeth, as i mentioned before i am in no way a dentist but i think that the longer u have been without teeth then the bone that once held your tooth or teeth will have drasticly reduced in size as it has not ben used and thinks it is fine to shrink down, all this along with what other work your chosen dentist may have to carry out prior to the work being done like removal of old decayed teeth i can only imagine can make the cost run sky high as we all know dentistry is in no way cheap in the first place.an obvious alternative to cost would be to go abroad for treatment i think this way you may even be able to cut the cost by more than half. i hope this helped a little.

You can smoke 12-24 hours after extraction but then again, you have to take into consideration many factors, for instance: was it a difficult extraction? was it in the maxillary (upper) jaw or in the mandibular (lower)? Do you take contraceptive pills? If you're a smoker, had a difficult extraction (tooth got broken or was difficult in getting it out), take contraceptive pills and had an extraction in the lower jaw, then you'd better refrain from smoking for a while. Dry sockets are more common when lower pre/molars are extracted since there are less blood vessels. This means that less blood is travelling to clot the socket and therefore the bone and surrounding tissues get infected.
Saline helps alot to disinfect and keep the socket clean during the following days.
Can you smoke heroin after getting teeth pulled?
bad for you. smoking greatly increases your chance of getting dry socket, which I know from personal experience is really painful.
