Deserts

I live in the Chihuahuan Desert and love it. Yes, it can get quite hot in the summer but we have learned to deal with the heat. Winters are usually quite mild. When other areas of the country are experiencing bitter cold and deep snow, it is not unusual for us to have temperatures between 60 and 70 degrees F and clear sunny days.

The largest hot desert is the Sahara. The largest overall is Antarctica.

There are no deserts in Swaziland. The climate variesfromtropical to neartemperate. The geography is slightly moutainous and hilly.

If you are talking about the Arabian peninsula, an oasis would be important because it was the fertile area in the midst of a desert. It helped farming, became stops along trade routes, and supported livestock. Hope this helped!

I assume it is because of the peaceful nights and day but yet, life changing. Yeah you probably cannot survive the day without any food or the extreme heat. Im sure they learn a lot than living in a city with scary people. plus im pretty sure they can see the bright night sky.

If people live in the desert they would probably eat snakes, lizards, or whatever they can catch. It may seem weird but out there it's either you or it and I'm sure you don't want to die in the desert.

That is the DUMBEST question i have ever seen. if there were no rivers or lakes, would you had ever drunken water? as for mountains, think of Mt Isa for example.

if there were no mountains, there wouldn't be any such thing as the Rocky Mountains or Mount Everest. if you haven't heard of them, i can't help you.

There are many different deserts so you must be specific. if your science teacher told you to find the geographical location of "the desert" you should tell him/her there are many and to go to science school if they don't already know this.

I lived in the desert for 2 years and it is very tough, you have to KEEP A LOT OF WATER with you to survive sometimes the temperature is very hot about 79 degrees celcius at the lowest. We get sand storms like twice a week. In a desert, there no way to go. now I live in Rajasthan desert.
