What is the value of a Savage Arms Model 219 rifle shotgun?
Condition means everything. We've seen recent sales of this model in VG-Excellent condition from $300-$375. sales@countrygunsmith.net
Hard to tell the age on these - there isn't a serial number chart I'm aware of and there's just no collector interest in these guns. Figure 1970's, probably. Value is whatever someone will pay for a shooter-grade single-shot 20ga. Probably in the neighborhood of $50-$80.

Diamond Arms was a tradename used by the Shapleigh Hardware Company of St Louis on shotguns they retailed via mail-order catalog. PROBABLY made by Crescent, although possibly by Stevens or Hopkins & Allen. Would have to see the gun to be sure. Exact age will be impossible to determine, but a safe bet is pre-World War II. sales@countrygunsmith.net
I believe that King Nitro was a model name of Shapleigh Arms Co, St. Louis, MO.
Diamond Arms was a trade name used by Shapleigh Hardware Co of St Louis from the late 1800s to about 1950. The guns were made by G. B. Crandall, Harrington & Richardson, Hopkins & Allen Arms, J. Stevens Arms Co, and probably a few others. A 410 single shot is most likely a Stevens product. If that statement about one piece barrel actually says "barrel and lug forged in one piece" it is a Stevens. If it says "barrel and lug forged in one" (exactly the same except no "piece") it is by Iver Johnson Arms and Cycle Works.
How can you identify what gauge a Diamond Arms Co single barrel shotgun is by the serial no 82609?
There is no way to tell the gauge from the serial number, and that may not even be a true serial number. Diamond Arms were made by several manufacturers for distribution by the Shapleigh Hardware Company of St Louis between the 1880s and 1940s. Anyone familiar with shotguns should be able to determine the gauge by looking at the gun, but to find the proper ammunition you should also have a gunsmith measure the length of the chamber.
I just bought a nice specimen for $100.00. Don't know age ...YET
What is the value of a 20 gauge Volunteer Arms shotgun?
Single shot, $35-$75. Double barrel, $100-$200.
The Browning .22 Auto you have is fairly collectable. All depends on originality and condition. Also, the gun was offered in several different grades from standard (blue finish with light engraving) to heavily engraved with coin finish receiver and exhibition quality wood. Would need to see pictures of the gun to correctly estimate value. As for the shooting contest trophy thing, that could be good or bad. If the gun was some sort of special presentation award from a nationally recognized organization (with provenance) it can help. If it is trophy-shop engraved "TO BOB, WINNER OF MOOSE LODGE 1403 TURKEY SHOOT" then it is wrecked. sales@countrygunsmith.net

What is the age and value of a 410 Central Arms single shot shotgun?
c.1900-1930. There is no model number. These were hardware catalog shotguns and value is going to top out at $100. sales@countrygunsmith.net
Provide more information, for one. What type of action, any other markings, serial number, all would be a start. sales@countrygunsmith.net

What is the value of a 1950 12 gauge Savage Arms Model 124 bolt action?

Note all of these guns had tenite stocks. The 124 and the deluxe 1244 were never equipped with wooden stocks from the factory
What is the value of a 16 gauge Eastern Arms shotgun serial 05925925?
EASTERN ARMS CO was a tradename most often associated with the Sears, Roebuck& Co company in the very early 1900s. The double barrel shotguns were typically Belgian and sold as the low-price line, and the single-barrel guns were typically made by contractors such as Iver Johnson. Value is going to be under $100.
What is the value of a Columbia Arms shotgun ejector model 1895?
The value of the gun depends a lot on the condition. A Columbia Arms Shotgun ejector model could be anywhere from $100 to $1,800.
How do you find information on Diamond Arms Shapleigh King Nitro shotguns?
Diamond Arms Company and Nitro King are both trade names used by the Shapleigh Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri. Some of the guns were imported from various Belgian sources, but they were also made by W.H. Davenport Firearms Co (1890's - ), Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works (early 1900's - ), J. Stevens Arms (before 1942), and Savage Arms.
If there is an oval with ELG* stamped on the barrel or action, it is from Belgium. If it is a 410 that's unlikely, and that would also eliminate Davenport as the maker.
If it says Armory Steel that suggests that it MIGHT be an Iver Johnson Champion.
Most of the Belgian imports stopped coming over when WWI started.
Add Crescent Firearms (1893-1930) to the list of manufacturers. If marked model 94, it's a Stevens up to 1948. 944 will be the same gun from Savage after 1948.
I have a King Nitro, but it is a 22 pump with an octagon barrel, made by the Central arms company. I have never researched it but have always been curious about it. I would be interested in further information if available.
Thanks,
Wayne

Who manufactured Diamond Arms shotguns?
The 23rd edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values refers to Adco Sales Incorporated, located in Walburn, Mass. But AdCo had nothing to do with these shotguns. They import semi-automatic shotguns made in Turkey. Diamond Arms Co. was a trade name used by Shapleigh Hardware of St Louis, MO, on shotguns imported from Belgium c. 1880-WWI or made by Stevens and Iver Johnson of Fitchburg, Mass., from about 1900-1940.
How do you find parts for a Diamond Arms shotgun?
Diamond Arms Co was a trade name used by Shapleigh Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri in the late 19th and early 20th century. It may have actually been manufactured by Iver Johnson, J. Stevens, or one of several Belgian firms. Parts will be hard to find. If you can identify it as a particular IJ or JS, Numrich Gunparts can probably supply them. Otherwise, carry it to all the gunshows within a hundred miles and dig through bins of misc parts.
I can certainly understand wanting to put Grandad's Old Gun back in working condition, but since these store-brand shotguns are not high-dollar collectables and seldom used as shooters, their value (other than sentimental value) is as a decoration. The cost of restoration or repair will probably exceed the gun's cash value.
What is the value of a 410 Diamond Arms Company dated August 12 1913?
If a single shot, about $50 retail. A double barrel may go for as much as $400 if it is in almost new condition, but probably half that if it is still functional but worn.
How do you find info on a Shapleigh King Nitro 410 shotgun with Diamond Arms on one side?
Follow the link to the related question.
Where can you find information about a 410 Diamond Arms Co Shapleigh King Nitro shotgun?

That also eliminates Davenport as the maker.
When was the diamond arm shotgun invented?
Diamond Arms Company: Trade name used by the Shapleigh Hardware Company of St. Louis, Missouri on shotguns they retailed. Probably manufactured by J. Stevens Arms, but possibly a Belgian import. Look for an oval around "ELG*". If it has it, it is Belgian, but most of these imports stopped coming over when WWI started.
