Can you drink diet soda when you are pregnant?
It is probably not that bad, after all, there are no warnings on the label. I wouldn´t do it though. Diet things give me the creeps because I wonder what they used to reduce the number of calories in it. They are probably using fake sugar. While this has been approved by the fda, it doesn´t rule out the possiblity of finding out about hidden side effects sometime down the road. Hidden side effects aside, if you are pregnant, everything you eat affects your baby. I would want to give my baby the healthiest diet possible by not ingesting a lot of sugar or unnatural products.
no, they should only have diet soda, there is too much sugar and insulin is not as effective with it, it can raise their blood sugar to enormously high amounts.

Does diet Pepsi contain benzene?
Benzene, an industrial chemical, is a carcinogen. It is not an ingredient in any carbonated beverage.
However when sodium benzoate is combined with ascorbic acid or citric acid it can break down into benzene.
Coca cola has removed certain drinks from the market, but there are still studies that show many coke products contain benzene, such as sprite and Dr Pepper.
So what you should worry about is sodium benzoate, which is what can turn into benzene.

No, it does not. The diet part simply means there are no carbs or sugar in the drink.
