What does the stomach do to your food in your digestive system?
The stomach is where the food is broke down. By acids produced inside the stmoach.
The pharynx is an anatomical region that is located posterior to the oral and nasal cavities. There are muscles that make up the pharynx including the superior pharyngeal constrictor, the palatopharyngeus, stylopharyngeus and salpingopharyngeus.
It's more of a muscular tube than an actual muscle.
What happens to proteins during digestion?
Protien is converted into muscle if you exercise, it is also essential for the body to repair tissue when injured. However, common to popular belief it doesn't turn into fat if you don't exercise, any excess protein just goes back out your body as waste.
A gullet opening is the opening of the second part of a frogs mouth. This is where this second opening begins.
Potatoes are mostly starch, a type of carbohydrate. Your stomach only initiates the digestion of proteins and does not digest carbohyrates or fats. When carbohydrates are digested, it occurs in the duodenum, the first portion of the small intestines. Here they undergo both chemical and physical changes. The digestion of carbohydrates begin in the mouth with the secretion of salivary amylase. The physcial digestion is considered to be mechanical at this point and is produced by chewing (masticating) your potatoes.

To digest cellulose, organisms must produce the enzyme cellulase. Humans and termites are unable to produce cellulase themselves but termites have living in their gut simple organisms (protozoa and bacteria) which can produce the enzyme. This is an example of mutualism - a relationship between two species in which both organisms benefit. The protoza and bacteria benefit by receiving a constant supply of food (wood) from the termite. The termite benefits from the energy-rich sugar released from the cellulose by the termites. For more details see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Termite
What is the Intracellular digestive system of a cell?
In cell biology, molecular biology and related fields, the word intracellular means "inside the cell". Intercellular:Between cells, as in an intercellular bridge. so when the digestion get complete inside the stomach then it passes the nutreints bt the cells .which is called intercellular digestion, & furthur the dig. occur inside the cells is called intracellular dig.
Place where nutrients enter the blood in the circulatory system?
Nutrients from food and beverage is absorbed inside the walls of the small intestine. As we digest our food, all nutrients are taken in the small intestine and would most probably then enter our bloodstream from there on.
How is protein digested in the alimentary canal?
Protein is firstly broken in the stomach through Chloridric acid. In the small intestine, the protein is absorbed into the blood stream through the inner wall of the small intestine.
Which organs have hormone production?
Hormone production is primarily accomplished by the organs of the endocrine system, but the brain is a significant producer along with other "organs", such as fat cells (which produce estrogen, for instance).
Organs of the endocrine system include the thyroid, parathyroids, adrenal glands, thymus gland, pituitary gland, plus "controlling organs" such as the hypothalamus and others.
As long as you don't overdo it it shouldn't do too much harm as a mater of fact the calcium can help in the formation of bones. However too much plaster will have the effect of neutralizing the acid that your stomach makes and may lead to digestive problems.
How is digested food carried to your cells?
The digested food is in form of glucose which is broken down in mitochondria to release energy.
Short answer:
It is semi-solid body waste that is usually brown in color and has an offensive odor.
Longer answer:
Feces or fecal matter is undigested waste that a human or other animal doesn't need which has little or no nutritional value. Feces is a waste product that goes out of your body after the digestion process. It is also known as "poop" in slang, as well as several vulgar words.
When you eat something, the nutrients are transported by the blood to all the cells of the body. That happens in the small intestine. Then the undigested food reaches the ileocecal valve and enters the large intestine or colon. The colon absorbs water, manufactures vitamins, produces mucus, and forms and expels feces.
In humans, most other mammals, and insects, this waste is expelled through the anus. In birds and cloacal mammals, it is expelled through the cloaca. The process of expelling feces is called defecation.
Feces is the correct US spelling, while faeces is the correct spelling in the UK and most of the rest of the English speaking world.
What helps digest your food it grosses out of grown ups you may call it spit?

What produces digestive juices released into small intestine?
The pancreas secretes juices into the small intestine!
Do earthworms have one opening in its digestive system?
yes, planarians have one opening in their digestive system
Where does most of absorption of carbohydrates occurs in?
Most food absorption takes place in the small intestine. Of the three sections of the small intestine, the duodenum and jejunum absorb the most nutrients. Some nutrients are absorbed in the stomach, but nutrients are absorbed mainly in the small intestine, where the small, soluble molecules are diffused or actively transported from the ileum/duodenum, into the capillaries on the other side of the intestine.
Is bacteria in out digestive system helpful?
Many bacteria in the body help eat many other things you might digest and will keep it from harming you.
