i have a direct tv samsung dvr 2 channel, i want to hook it up to my basic cable. i dont have a cable box just a coax cord. all i want to do is record my programs. please help will

The most economical choice for choosing a TV package really depends on your budget and time. The package choice channels are about 150 - 225 channels for the best package.

It's not hard, but if you don't already know that, you probably shouldn't do it yourself.

Try the Code 11314 on your directv remote to control your Hisense tv power And volume but won't work for tv input button. But hey power and volume works great! This is actually a Vizio tv code so maybe if you try other Vizio tv codes you can get the tv input to work as well? Good luck! #steveseagraves

Family guy reruns appear on Adult Swim and TBS. If you have direct tv and have local stations. Check the CW. the Cw plays reruns. New episodes appear on Fox.

Even though you may have DirecTV, it still depends on where you live. Entertainment Tonight currently airs on CBS. Check your local listings for the times and channel.

No. They will not due to the receivers being linked to a specific account number. This account number is called a CID. The CID is actionable to a specific lease agreement, that is specific to the receivers it was created with. The receivers have RID #'s (Receiver Identification Numbers) and they function hand in hand with Card Access #'s. The id card you question about, is the link between your account and what the receiver is able to access for you, and it will not work on another's cable box because it is linked to another account.

According to Kristi id #404701, mr white does NOT accept phone calls from subscribers. That is why he formed the office of the president, so he would not pave to take calls from subscribers. mr white might take calls from stockholders but that is done through a different agency. If you own one share of direct tv that phone number becomes available to you. mr white may not condescend to talk to you then either, but if not, that one share gives you the right to attend the annual shareholders meeting in April each year. There I'm told, mr white will listen to any shareholder for as long as said shareholder would care to speak. There it is OK to waste his valuable time but otherwise he does not really want to hear from the disgruntled masses. Of course, if enough of the disgruntled masses ended their overpriced subscriptions, they would not have to become shareholders to be listened to by the venerable mr white.

Directv's current HD Dvrs have Pandora radio. As far as other receivers, I am unsure. I only own the current HD Reciever?

Why would you need to hook up a digital converter to a satellite receiver ? Arn't they already digital ? stevecooper75@comcast.net

DirecTV has a quide channel that shows all the scheduled programs and whats playing for the next 24 hours, They also have an online tv guide that shows channels programs up to a week.

The guy isn't him. I wondered the same thing for quite awhile. They have a new ad now w/a closeup of the guy--don't know who he is, but it sure seemed like the camera distance in the old ads was designed to make it seem like Patrick Dempsey...the actor even has a similar voice, and the distance was just far enough away that you couldn't quite tell if it was him or not. I was always offended by the ad, because I was pretty sure it wasn't him, and it seemed like deceptive advertising. It seemed to obvious to be unintentional.
