In the order that the park opened

Anaheim Disneyland mostly just called

Disneyland

is the first park and the only one Walt Disney saw finished, highest in detail. has sleeping beauty castle, this park also has the most rides even though it's the second smallest property, this resort's second gate is Disney's California Adventure a park many say lacks Disney this park has started an expansion and will get 10 new rides one of which is The Little Mermaid ride and a new carsland, also sill get a new show in the lagoon

Magic Kingdom

is the second, Walt Disney bought this parks land but never saw construction even start, has Cinderella castle, this park has three sister parks EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and two water parks Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach

Tokyo Disneyland

is the third park, cleanest park and best maintained park but does not have best rides, is not owned by Disney but by the Japanese Oriental Land Company, has exact copy of Cinderella castle with different colors, Tokyo Disney's second gate is Disney Sea which is by many considered Disney's best park with good detail and genius rides and is a completely new concept for a park

Disneyland Paris

is the fourth park, this park failed at first and has had financial issues since opening, this parks castle was the hardest to design since Paris already has many wonderful castles, this park has a sleeping beauty castle but is taller and higher in detail,Disneyland Paris is also the largest Disney Park, this parks second gate is considered my many Disney's WORST park and lowestin deatail

Hong Kong Disneyland

is the newest park and the smallest has the least rides and overall just lacks in things to do, this park has a copy of Anaheim's castle sleeping beauty castle, this park is half owned by the hong kong gov and has just approved a mjoar expansion to build three new rides in three new lands, this park does not have a second gate.

How much money will a family of four need to eat at Disney World for one day?

I know that counter service restaurants at the parks are about $9 for adults and $5.49 for kid's meals. The adult meal does not include a drink which is an additional $2.89 but if you are okay with drinking water you can order an ice water for free. Snacks such as pretzels, ice cream, etc. are $3-$4. So in a day, if you were to do 2 counter service meals at that price each and 2 snacks, the total would come to about $50. That does not include breakfast but there are cheap breakfast options mentioned on websites such as mousesavers.com. One of the great cost-savers they mention is purchasing bread and peanut butter at the resort food courts, using jelly from the condiment bar and making a pb&j super cheap. Also, there are fruit stands around the parks that sell fruit such as oranges and grapefruit for around $1. so it shouldnt cost to much if you are only going for 4 days and are you bringing a child? if so then it wont cost much.

How much are Disneyland tickets for 2 adults and 7 children?

What do you mean by "a night at Disneyland"?

With very few exceptions, you can't spend the night in the park.

Walt had a private apartment constructed over the firehouse on Main Street that he used while the park was being constructed so that he could be on hand pretty much full time in case something required his attention ... such as the decision he had to make just before opening day as to whether the plumbers would use the limited time remaining to finish the restrooms or the drinking fountains; he wisely opted for the restrooms (figuring it was better to make people buy a Coke than to make them pee in the street). Disneyland does offer tours of the apartment, but no one is allowed to stay in it.

There IS one apartment in Disneyland itself that a very few people get to stay in. It was originally intended for the use of Walt's family to replace the (significantly smaller) firehouse apartment, but he died before it was finished, and his brother suggested that the family would not enjoy it with Walt gone. For a time the space was used for the Disney Gallery, but it was remodeled in 2008 into the two-bedroom Dream Suite. Stays in the Dream Suite are not available for sale; to stay there, you have to win a contest.

The cost of the Disney-owned hotels near the park (Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel, Paradise Pier) varies by season. Your best bet to find current pricing is to go to Disney's web site (https://disneyland.disney.go.com/) and look around there. Alternatively, there are a number of nearby hotels that are not much further from the park than the Disney-owned ones, many of which are significantly less expensive.

What are recommendations for eating at the Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World?

The Best Depends on Your Tastes

First decide if you want to dine with the characters. If so, Cinderella's Royal Table, especially for breakfast, is an excellent option for all-day princess dining. The Crystal Palace features Pooh and friends all day. The Liberty Tree Tavern has character dining in the evening. (Lunch is a la carte without the characters.) To get reservations for character dining, you must call for reservations beginning 180 days in advance.

If you don't care about characters, I suggest counter service. My favorite is Cosmic Ray's in Tomorrowland because diners have a choice of burgers, chicken and sandwiches. Pecos Bill's in Frontierland also has great burgers and a toppings bar with grilled onions and mushrooms. Some people love to try the Turkey Legs, which you can get at a cart in Frontierland.

You will find some WDW guests who love to dis the food at the Magic Kingdom. In my opinion, it has gotten better in recent years.

More recommendations from FAQ Farmers:

  • Disney veterans agree the Magic Kingdom has the worst food of any Disney theme park, which is saying quite a lot. The ambiance is the thing, here. Overpriced food is prepared in mass quantity at central kitchens, and transported to each outlet. The recipes are chosen for logistics, rather than taste appeal. Now that youve been warned, here are the best of the worst, in order:
  • The Liberty Tree Tavern offers hearty family fare with characters. (Updated: Liberty Tree Tavern no longer features characters.)
  • The Crystal Palace on Main Street offers a buffet with Disney Characters. Its a good way for the little ones to get some exposure to Goofy, Mickey and the gang, in an air-conditioned indoor setting. (Updated: Crystal Palace features characters from Winnie the Pooh.)
  • Tonys Town Square on Main Street is a good bet for simple fare in relatively uncrowded surroundings.
  • Cinderellas Royal Table has tiny, crowded tables in a unique location on the second floor of the castle. Like most restaurants with a fabulous view, the food is lousy. Stick to sandwiches and roast turkey. That doesnt seem to bother the dozens of screaming tots who crowd the place during lunch and dinner. Definitely arrange priority seating (call 407-939-3463) before you leave home, if this is a must for you.
  • I've been to Walt Disney World a lot over the years, and in my opinion, it's better to go with fast food at Magic Kingdom. If you eat at a more expensive restaurant, the food usually isn't that great, so just end up wasting a lot of time and money. It's usually just as good to grab some chicken fingers and french fries at some stand in between rides. If you are going to the other parks as well, save your money for the nicer restaurants at Epcot, or better yet, Animal Kingdom. They have excellent food almost anywhere for a reasonable price. However, Magic Kingdom does have a few things to check out for dessert. A personal favorite is the ice cream shop at the end of main street. They make fresh (not packaged) Toll House cookie ice cream sandwiches, with your choice of ice cream as the filling. If you're lucky you can even catch them when the cookies have just come out of the oven. It's definitely worth stopping by.
