keeping a dog crated means that when you leave the house or at night put the dog in its kennel. it teaches the dog to not go to the batroom at those times; it doen't like having its bathroom in the same spot where it has to sleep. which means you need to let the dog go outside before and after it goes in its kennel.

it goes back to wolfs preparing somewhere to sleep for example repeatedly trampling on some dried leaves walking around and around on them to flatten them. dogs still do this now an it is in there nature, its basically there way of making themselves comfortable.

How do you train a puppy to use litter box?
If you catch your puppy doing it's buisness inside, quickly tell them off, firmly but not nastily, so that they understand. Then, take them out into the garden (possibly whilst their still weeing/pooing if you're quick enough!) then reward them with a biscuit or praising words. If you can tell your puppy is about to poo or wee inside quickly put them into the garden and praise them when they are done. If you catch them doing it inside, make sure they know that what they have done is wrong, but never hit your puppy. What does a schnoodle look like?

Do keep in mind, though, that all animals with fur OR hair shed. Even people shed hair from time to time. So if you see a few hairs from your schnoodle lying around, it's OK.

The humping from your female dog is not about sex, it is about dominance. She is probably trying to establish dominance. Chances are she is trying to be the lead dog or take Alpha position. It is not unusual for your male dog to "mark" his territory and the dominant or Alpha female to mark over the same spot your male just marked at, even if they have to raise their leg to do it. However, one must be established as the dominant figure and if the male is much larger it might be a good idea to let the female be Alpha. You can help this by feeding the female first, hooking up her leash or collar first and greeting her first. This may help push the female toward being Alpha but in the end the dogs will establish the pecking order.
